You were staying with Bobby for a week because Dean had ran away and John and Sam were looking for him.
You were three years younger than Dean at the time, you were 13 and he was 16. You two were practically inseparable.
John and Sam didn't know that Dean told you and Bobby where he was.
He had tried to steal from a man named Sonny but Sonny didn't charge him and offered Dean a permanent home there.
Bobby drove until you found it.
"I'll pick you up in the morning" Bobby said.
"Ok"
You walked up the hill and found the window to Dean's room.
Looking around you grabbed a stick that was soft enough not to break the glass and threw it at the window.
Dean backtracked to the window.
When he looked out he smiled.
"___!"
You waved excitedly.
He unlocked the window and you climbed in.
"Hey Dean" you said simply.
"Hey ____"
Dean sat on the bed and patted the spot next to him for you.
You sat beside him and asked him your first question.
"How are you liking it here?"
"It's currently better than being with Dad and Sam but Idon't fit in here."
You didn't know what to say so you gave him a much needed hug.
"I know it is hard Dean but you can't run away from the problems every time."
"I know"
"Family is rough, I know. And hunter families are even worse. Everything we do is to protect one another no matter the consequences. Sometimes we don't think about the effect it has. But whether you know it or not, things will get better. In time."
The pent up emotions in Dean started leaking out and he hugged you.
After a while, you both got under the covers and fell asleep.
Dean was holding you with your back against his chest and his chin on top of your head.
Around 1 in the morning Sonny knocked on the door and then stepped in.
He noticed another figure in the bed and guessed she was part of the complicated home life he talked about.
