You put new batteries in the player and got your earbuds.
While choosing between Rancid, Bad Religion, and R.E.M. Dean walked in.
"Hey babe whatcha doing?"
"Deciding what to listen to. I know you don't like my music but can you choose a CD?"
"Sure"
He grabbed the Rancid one because 'the cover looks cool'.
"Here, listen to this song"
You pushed the button to get you to track 11.
"This one is called Journey To The End Of The East Bay."
He bobbed his head along then smiled at you.
"Hey, this is actually pretty good."
"I KNOW RIGHT!" You said getting excited that he finally liked a song.
You listened through a lot of your albums for the rest of the night.
