I woke up out of the most peaceful sleep I had ever had to the sound of Green Day. I forgot that all of my alarms were automatically set to Holiday, because I knew I could never hate that song. Cas was definitely asleep. I placed a quick kiss on the back of his shoulder. Like I said, heterosexuality had gone out the window about an hour and a half ago.

"Cas. We gotta wake up, the bell rings in ten minutes." I prodded at his arms, and he grumbled.

"But I'm comfy." I grinned. An idea was forming.

"I can carry you to the bus if you want." Cas nodded and curled himself up more in his blanket after I stood up. Luckily, Cas had a small backpack, so after ten minutes was up, I stacked it on top of him and carried burrito-boy bridal-style to our bus, glaring at anyone who shot me a dirty look. I carefully set him down in the seat.

"Hey. Mr. Sandman. If you don't wake up now then your head is gonna hit the wall a lot and it'll hurt." Cas begrudgingly sat up, still wrapped in his blanket emblazoned with the school colors.

"Sit next to me." I did as I was told and shoved our bags in the empty seat across from us.

"You still in pain?" Cas shook his head.

"No, I think it's gone."

"Yeah." It got very awkward and quiet all of a sudden.

"Uh, Dean?" I perked up. "Thank you. For, everything. I really appreciate you laying with me. That helped."

"No problem. I'm glad it worked out. If you want, I can call my dad and tell him to bring me some clothes and stuff and I could sleep over."

"Yeah, that'd be great, if you're sure he wouldn't mind." I pulled out my phone and sent him a message. I was mid-sentence when Cas suddenly wrapped his arms around my shoulders. He layed his head on me, and once again, the intrusive thoughts were invading. Hey, at least they weren't depressing this time.

And hell, I was gonna. But the bus lurched to a stop. My stop. My neighbor walked off the bus, and the driver yelled at me.

"I'm staying with Cas tonight, I'm just getting off at his stop." The bus driver shrugged and kept driving.

Cas pulled himself off of me and leaned against the window. I realized he was still wearing my jacket. Hell, he could keep it. Whatever made him happy.
