*Lucinda Santora, 20 years of Age.

Lucinda Santora was admitted to Exodus Asylum just two years ago. She's a beautiful, young woman with a height of 5'2. At first sight, you would assume there's nothing wrong with her. She has schizophrenia, dysthymia, and bipolar disorder, all of which her mother has too.

Her illness so out of control until after a break up, which caused Lucinda to have a psychotic episode. She broke into her ex's parents' house in the middle of the night, while he was visiting them. She learned to pick locks when she once locked herself out of her own house.

Lucinda murdered her ex and dismembered him, laying his limbs all throughout the house. The next morning, his parents found a note inside their room on their nightstand reading,"Your son was a mistake but condolences to you all anyway. Have fun cleaning him up. From, Lucinda." They found his body parts scattered around the house and immediately called the police. Lucinda was found at her parents' house, where she had murdered them too.

Her ex's six year old sister, Miranda, loved Lucinda a lot. Lucinda was like an older sister to her. Miranda had received a note in her room as well. "Forgive me my dear. From, Lucy." After seeing her brother's head laid in the middle of her room, Miranda developed nightmares that remained night after night. She slept in her parents' room for the rest of her childhood, fearing that Lucinda would return to kill the three of them.

James, a staff member at the asylum, was Lucinda's usual check up. She was quiet most of the time but she was an open book with James from the moment they met, so he's gotten to know quite a lot about her.

She'd show him drawings of the creatures she sees in which James found creepy. He wasn't interested in her drawings nor was he interested in anything she told him in general, but he pretended to be to avoid angering her. However, he thought Lucinda was an amazing drawer. Her drawings were very detailed and seemed realistic. Nonetheless, they were still creepy.

The creatures she showed James included horned black cats, a bloody cobra, a talking boar skull, and so many other unusual things. Lucinda called them "the demon children".
She would 'feed' them by continuously biting her tongue to draw blood. She would spit the blood on the floors or on the walls where the children supposedly "walk" on.

James was always the one to clean up the blood, which upset him. Not only that, he couldn't clean until Lucinda told him the children were finished 'eating'. James thought it was all bullshit and, of course, thought Lucinda was insane. Lucinda knew the children were just hallucinations but she was being controlled by her own mind to believe they're real.

James has visited Lucinda on various nights but one night in particular took his life. He walked down the dimly lit hallway all the way down to Lucinda's room, feeling the cold from the air-conditioning hitting his face and the smell of medicine entering his nose.

He looked through the small window of Lucinda's door. Her room was lit with only a candle, yet right away he saw Lucinda standing in front of the doorway, staring straight at him.
James flinched a little bit but sighed afterwards and shook his head. He hates when she does that. She always does that and It scares the shit out of him.

Lucinda, oddly, senses when James is coming. She'll know when it isn't him because the voices in her head would tell her so. Even so, James wasn't afraid to be in the same room as her. He knew Lucinda wasn't going to attack him-- or so he thought.

James slides his key through the lock in the door handle to unlock it. Mind you, the doors of the "residents" are always kept locked for safety purposes. There are times when the residents are allowed out of their rooms but some residents aren't allowed to exit from their rooms at all for reasons like major violence. The door would remain locked until the resident was able to behave properly. This happened to Lucinda in the past. She refused for anyone other than James to check up on her. If someone else were to enter her room, she would immediately attack them and attempt to kill them. She was ridiculously strong for a small woman. The nurses were terrified of Lucinda because every single time, Lucinda almost kills someone. Luckily, she was always stopped before someone actually did die.

James steps in the room and closes the door behind him, keeping eye contact with Lucinda with every move he made. He was still cautious around her. Lucinda doesn't move her body, nor eyes and she continues to stare at something behind James.

"Why don't you turn on your lamp?" James asks. She gives no reply and continues to stare ahead of her.
James follows her eyes to see what she's looking at. Nothing's there. He walks towards Lucinda and stops when he feels the floor become slippery beneath his feet. A certain smell that he didn't smell earlier filled the room-- Blood.

"I'm sorry," Lucinda says apologetically, turning slowly to face James. "The children were getting hungry again. I had to feed them." James lets out a long, frustrated sigh.

"This is the millionth FUCKING time you've spit your damn blood around the place!" James snapped, finally losing patience. Lucinda tilts her head, surprised and a tad hurt to hear James get mad at her. This was the first time he's actually got mad at her. He had always seemed nice to Lucinda. Maybe externally but on the inside, he despised her. "I'm tired of your shit," he continues.

Lucinda tilts her head and stares into James' eyes. "Is that so?" she says, walking towards James. At this moment, his anger is replaced with a strong fear for Lucinda. It was a fear he hadn't felt before.

James backs away from her till he hits a corner. There was nowhere to run. Lucinda brings her hand up and places a finger beneath James' chin. The room was quiet enough to hear the shutters of fear from James.

"Why must you be angry at me, my love?" Lucinda questions. She brings her head down to his neck her cold breath hitting against it. She runs a hand down James' chest all the way down to his stomach.

The voices were angry at James for yelling at Lucinda. Within her, a certain lust appeared. It was the same one that had caused her to kill her her ex. It was a bloodlust. Lucinda's stomach warmed up inside but her chest received a certain pain. She loved James. She had fallen in love him after her first year in the asylum. It was easy for her to fall in love with him. He reminded her so much of her ex. She didn't want to hurt James but she listened to what the voices said more than what she believed herself.

You trust too much.
James is a fake.
He hates you.
He wants you dead.

The voices were correct. They always seemed to be correct. Lucinda trusted the wrong person. James hated Lucinda and wanted her dead. He didn't enjoy taking care of her and it wouldn't be any different for any of the other residents.

He's only worse than your ex.
Kill him before he finds a way to kill you.

Lucinda's heart broke a little bit more because deep down, the truly loving girl she once was still remained. She was just lost, confused, and overpowered by the demons in her head.

Lucinda bit James' neck softly. James' body shivered and Lucinda whispered,"I'm sorry." She bit James' neck, harder and harder till he bled, clawing into his stomach at the same time. He screamed in pain and agony. This only fueled Lucinda's rage more and, eventually, she ripped out his throat while her finger pierced through through his stomach.

James' last sight of Lucinda was horrifying. Her hand and mouth was covered in his blood which streamed down to her chest. Tears rolled down her cheeks, yet her faced displayed not the slightest emotions. He had sworn that in her eyes, he saw a black cat. Its eyes were lit with a burning fire that showed much hatred and betrayal. Although Lucinda didn't say anything, James somehow heard what she said in her head. "I'm sorry, my dear."

James slid down the wall, gurgling, and Lucinda held onto his had. He was dead. Lucinda wrapped her arms around James and continued to sway back and forth, laughing. She was broken.

Two guards burst through Lucinda's door and stand frozen once they see James lifeless and Lucinda covered in blood. She looks at the guards and gives them a creepy smile. Her eyes twitched and twitched.

Lucinda doesn't attack them. Instead, she laughs through sobs like a maniac and says,"I'm sorry for the mess. You can take him once the children are done eating."
