Chapter 11: The Quest Part 2

A/N Im BAAAAACKKKKKKKK!!!!!!1!!! yay! The tournament didnt go as planned. We were supposed to play my old team but they didnt want to play us cuz they were too scared.

I am happy to be back now and continue with the story. Lets hope these next few chapters are good ones right?!?

~Sky's POV~

The other group sets off to thier route as Jordan, Ian and I walk towards the capital. We knew this was going to be a long walk because we have to go through a city just to get to the capital in a shorter time. I didnt want to have to go through security and stuff, but if we don't, we will risk getting in jail for sneaking outside the village.

"This is going to take forever!" Ian complains.

"Yeah I know, but there really is no other choice. If we want to find Quentin and defeat Herobr..." then it hit me, "I think Herobrine has to do something with Quentin missing. There's no other explanation." I say turning to my friends since I was walking ahead of them a little.

"Well no DuH! Of course its Herobrine, he's the only one who would do something like that." Jordan said sounding peeved

"Well you cant forget about the military and cops. They want me and Quentin. I wont be able to get in the capital with me being wanted." Ian said jittery and jumpy.

"Wow! What did you do to make the military want you gone?"

"Oh, I robbed a few banks in each village except for in the capital. I killed a few "unloyal" people and I also black mailed the King into getting me as much things as I need and want from him, along with help from Quentin."

"Well that sounds about right." Jordan said nodding his head

"What did you have on the king?" I asked because I must know.

"I was roaming an almost empty village one night and I saw him cheating on the Queen. I told him I wouldn't tell anyone if he gave me anything and everything. That's why I am so rich."

We walked for another half an hour or so to make it outside the village. We went in the village and began to walk around, looking for signs of Quentin for three hours, which we had no luck with.

"Guys, there's no sign of him should we go door to door and ask people." I said as we walked up to a door. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to open it.

"Hello, how can I help you?" a girl about our age opened the door. Ian clearly was in love with her, because all he did was stare at her with wide eyes, and I couldn't blame him, she was very pretty, just not my type.

"We were looking for our friend and wondering if you've seen him around here? He's tall, looks like a fish, has water powers..." "Wait, water powers?" she cut me off.

"...Yeah?"

"Come inside my house now, while my parents are out!" she demanded. "My name is Anna, and I escaped from Herobrine's castle. I am assuming you know what I am talking about?" she said as we sat on her couch.

"Yeah, we do. But how did you manage to escape?" Ian said.

"Well it was not long ago that Herobrine found his ultimate weapon. A hybrid so powerful he didn't need anyone else. Or so everyone thought. He killed most of the hybrids who failed their test, and salvaged the ones who passed. I was one who passed but he didn't kill any of us because two hybrids who passed had escaped..." I looked at Ian who was smirking to see if he knew that was him.

"...He didn't want to mess up this time so he just got rid of the useless, week ones, just threw them out on the street. I was one of them and I had no food, no home, no clothes that were warm enough for the night. Luckily my new family took me in." Anna said looking down at the ground.

"So he must have a plan because why else would he keep certain hybrids and get rid of weak ones?" I said.

"I don't know, but who ever found a way to escape Herobrine was what help us all. We would all be stuck as his slaves if it weren't for them." Anna said.

"It was me and my friend, the one we are looking for. His name is Quentin, and I am Ian. This is Sky and Jordan. We are all hybrids." Ian said pointing to us as he said our names.

"Well Ian, You have helped me out of the castle, and I shall return the favor and help you find your friend, Quentin was his name right?" she said not taking her eyes off Ian, clearly a sign!

"Yeah it is, but as soon as we find him, we are going to kill Herobrine, so I'm not sure if it's the best idea you tag along." I said looking at my friends who nodded in agreement.

"That's perfect! I still need revenge on him. He thinks he can kill innocent lives and get away with it. Well not on my watch. Hey, what are your guy's powers anyways?" she said.

"Oh mine is just speed, Jordan is a dragon so don't get on his bad side, and sky has teleporting powers and strength powers. What are yours?" Ian said

"Fire and lava." We all nodded and there was an awkward silence in the room. I was going to laugh so hard if someone didn't say anything.

And then all of a sudden, "HAHAHAHAHA..." we all started laughing simultaneously for a long time. "oh my gosh! That was so weird!" I said trying to catch my breath. I looked out the window to see that the sun was almost set.

"Oh crap we spent this time talking and stuff and it's almost night. We don't even have a place to sleep!"

"You can stay here if you want. We have extra rooms." Anna said politely.

"We wouldn't want to invade you." Jordan spoke up.

"No its fine I promise! Put your weapons over here and I will take you to your room," and with that we followed her. I put down my daggers and budder sword, as does Ian with his two iron swords and Jordan with his diamond dagger. We follow Anna to the rooms, Ian in front.

"Ok here are three rooms, choose yours wisely. If you need me, I will be in my room. And when my parents do come home, don't walk out your rooms until I say you can!" she said as she walked to her room.

"Welp, I call this room," Jordan said getting the room closest to the bathroom.

"Dibs on this!" Ian said getting the room closest to the family room, and furthest from Anna's, kind of strange since he obviously like her.

"Guess I have this one." said walking to my room and shutting the door. I scanned the room and noticed it was just standard. I laid down on the bed and heard the front door shut and footsteps run down the hall.

"Hi mom and dad..." is all I heard before things got muffled. I had a long day so I decided to just get some sleep.

A/N quick little chapter another one will hopefully be up tomorrow! I've been busy and just at this one little time area, my friends wanna hang out but I'm like "I have plans" and I feel bad to leave them hanging ya know??
