Her lungs burned and her body throbbed.

The water engulfed her whole as she tried to reach up to the air she needed the most. She tried her best to get closer to the light, or at least to just graze her fingers over it but no... she was sinking.

She sank and sank and the flame in her chest grew stronger.

She screamed her life out, thinking it would somehow help her, but instead water gushed down her throat, into her wind pipe.

The bright, blue light, that she was trying to reach for, had dimmed down with despair. She flew and thrashed her arms and legs at every angle in attempt to save her life.

To save all her memories, her friends and family.

But she knew she couldn't. She knew she had failed to keep her existence present. She knew it all.

The flare in her chest faded out like the waves that swam back to the shore. Small bubbles slipped from her lips instead of big, helpless ones.

And you won't be able to notice that she was crying though she was ready.

She was ready to sleep... forever.

She had her eyes shut, her limbs floating lifelessly in the water and her body laying so cold and numb in the humungous pool of blue. Then just like that, her eyes lost their vision to darkness.

But in the distance, there came a boy with a face we can not read. He swam with such speed through the ocean, he was like a knife slicing sharply through the waves and the water rippled and swayed as he dived down into the deep.

He penetrated into the blue like a sharp, silver spear. He shot his eyes open to see through the water though he knew his vision would be clouded with a blur at first. He held his breath as such adrenaline jabbed through himself.

His arms cradled the young lady's unconscious body, which had a figure that the unknown boy could not imagine of anyone having of. Then fortunately, she still had a pulse though it was incredibly slow and weak. He swam back to the surface of the water with the young lady in his embrace.

You'll be fine. He thought. I promise that.

And off he swam back to the shore as quickly as he could.

He swam and swam, eager to bring the girl back to land. He had no idea why he had such a piercing feeling through him everytime he'd glance at her. She made him feel...

Scared.

Terrified.

Not good enough.

But once he had the shore and its sands in his sight, a grimace appeared along his lips knowing he had just made it in time.

He pushed himself up from the waters, tired but relieved. He scanned the place around him, cautious for any people who had possibly seen them. Once he was sure, he laid the lady down on to the grainy, wet sand with a sad grin on his face. His twinkling eyes wondered along her face.

Such beauty. He thought. But I can not reveal myself to you.

He reached down for her wrist, finding her pulse and when he did, he shut his eyes closed. He breathed in and out slowly.

Just then, a bright aura surrounded the both of them. Specks of gold danced around the air as a soft breeze whipped the faces of both of them.

He leaves a soft kiss on her cheek.

Im sorry, love.

Then the girl shot her eyes open, big and wide. Water exploded up from her throat and she coughed and panted for the air she needed. She sat up straight still coughing.

And the last thing she saw was a deep, vibrant blue fin, flapping through the sea.

...

Jungkook shoots up from his sleep, his hand pressing against his heart. He licks his dry lips.

What did I just dream of?
