From 2.04 "Memory Lane", in the Salvatore Boarding House's living room, Katherine came face-to-face with Alex and Elena.

Elena looked at Katherine in shock. "How do we look exactly alike?"

From 2.08 "Rose", in the abandoned house, Alex, Elena and Rose were talking.

Rose looked at Elena. "You're a Petrova Doppelganger." She looked at Alex. "And you're the Wraith. You're the keys to breaking the curse."

From 2.19 "Klaus", in Alaric's Apartment, Klaus walked out of the wooden crate, looking down at Alaric.

Elijah: (voice over from 2.20 The Last Day) "Klaus is a vampire born of a werewolf bloodline."

From 2.20 "The Last Day", in the library of the Salvatore Boarding House, Stefan, Alex and Elena were sitting on the couch.

Kaylin and Nicola were sitting in two chairs on either side of the couch.

Elijah was standing in front of them, explaining. "The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting. But if he breaks it, he'll be a true hybrid."

From 2.21 "The Sun Also Rises", in the Quarry, Klaus transformed.

Elijah: (voice over from 2.21 The Sun Also Rises) "He'll be vulnerable during the transformation."

Bonnie was casting her spell.

Elijah: (voice over from 2.21 The Sun Also Rises) "That's when Bonnie comes in."

From 2.21 "The Sun Also Rises", in the Quarry, Elijah punched his arm into Klaus's chest, grabbing a hold of his heart.

Elijah: (voice over from 2.21 The Sun Also Rises) "If she can deliver him to the brink of death, I'll finish the job myself."

From 2.21 "The Sun Also Rises", outside the witch house, Jenna and Elijah were talking.

"I had a family," Elijah told her. "Klaus hunted them down one by one. He scattered them across the seas, where their bodies could not be found."

From 2.21 "The Sun Also Rises", in the Quarry, Elijah twisted Klaus's right.

"I didn't bury them at sea!" Klaus told him. "Their bodies are safe. If you kill me, you'll never find them."

Elijah looked at Klaus for a long moment. He looked at Kaylin, Bonnie, Cristian and Liv. "I'm sorry."

Cristian ran toward them. "No!"

Liv followed. "No!"

Elijah grabbed Klaus, rushing away, taking him with him.

Cristian and Liv stopped next to Kaylin and Bonnie.

Kaylin, Bonnie, Cristian and Liv were in shocked, betrayed denial.

From 2.20 "The Last Day", in Damon's room, Damon and Alex were talking.

Damon tilted his head sadly. "I can't lose you."

Alex looked at him sadly, shaking her head. "You won't."

Alex slowly turned for the door, taking a deep, steadying breath, starting to walk away.

Damon rushed in front of her, making her gasp. "There is another way."
