Apartments
Evelina wanted to be mad at Peter, but she couldn't. After he romantically asked her if she would give him the honor to be his girlfriend down at the beach, the bowl of spaghetti she had left behind at the loft was forgotten, and she was over the moon.
Although she knew they were already in a committed relationship, her pregnant belly said it all, it was very considerate of Peter to actually ask her formally.
After his beautiful speech and the steamy kiss they shared, Peter and Evelina took a long walk down the beach. Evie couldn't remember the last time they had a pleasant date without the threat of death hanging over their heads, and she remembered to enjoy the calm moment as much as she could.
"Evelina, I never asked what the gender of the baby is..."
"Oh min kjære, I don't even know myself."
They both fell silent. Peter cleared his throat and Evelina raised an eyebrow at him. She began to shake her head when she knew what he was going to say.
"No."
"But love-"
"I don't want to know what the baby is! I want it to be a surprise..."
"Then how the hell are people going to give us gifts if they don't know the gender?"
"They'll give us gifts anyway, Peter, people are suckers when it comes to a baby!"
Peter scoffed and shook his head.
"Our baby is going to look stupid in mismatched clothes, just because we don't know the gender. It's going to be wearing a blue shirt with pink pants."
"And it will still look adorable," Evelina said smugly. She knew not knowing the gender would drive Peter crazy.
And she was all ready for it.
"By the way, a sudden change of topic..." Peter wrapped his arms around Evelina in an attempt to sweeten the news he was about to drop on his girlfriend.
"That doesn't sound too good..." Evie mumbled.
"If you're going to say something stupid, I'm going to sit on you, and not the good way," she threatened. She relaxed when she felt a kiss on her shoulder. She growled.
"Stop trying to win me over, Pan, and tell me what you have done."
Peter gave a soft laugh before burying his face deep into her neck.
"I got us a place."
"You fucking what?!"

When Peter took Evelina to go see the place he had somehow gotten to his name, she was conflicted.
On one hand, Evie was excited about the idea of moving to her own place. But on the other, she knew Snow and David were not going to be thrilled, and she didn't want to be the one to break their hearts. They had done so much for her, they were practically her second parents.
So she decided to let Peter break the news.
"You're insane if you think I'm telling them," Peter said when they made it back to the loft. Evelina clicked her tongue as she fished her keys out of her purse.
"Well, I'm not telling them," she mumbled. Her stomach suddenly growled and she turned to Peter.
"Was there any spaghetti left? I'm still hungry," she asked. Peter chuckled.
"I don't think there's any food left, my love. But I'm sure Snow bought you back some leftovers from their date."
Evelina's face brightened and she quickly unlocked the door.
