Beauty, the Beast, and Your Favourite Fandoms

Hey, this is 2020 Shannon popping in to say that this script was written for an English project 4 years ago with my friend. It's extremely cringey, cliche and self-indulgent but you know what? I don't care and I find it kind of cute so i'm posting it anyway. I hope some of y'all can get a few reminiscent laughs out of it as I did, enjoy!

Scene 1:

[PANDORA is dancing with the prince form of the beast in the palace, it is clear that they like each other]

PANDORA- {whilst dancing with the prince. In a flirty tone} Your Highness, you're such a good dancer!

PRINCE- Yeah well, my father{His face darkens as he says the word}he- uh sent for the finest dancer in the land who taught me all my dank skills.

{PANDORA blushes as her eyes meet the eyes of the PRINCE}

PRINCE- {While blushing and looking at PANDORA} Hey Pandora, there's something I wanted to ask-

{Before the PRINCE can finish, the doors of the palace open revealing an old lady begging for shelter}

PRINCE- {Whispering to PANDORA}Run! There's danger I know it. Pandora, I can't let anything bad happen to you.

PANDORA-{Whispering back to the PRINCE} I'm not just going to leave you here!

PRINCE- Pandora please, there's no other way. I promise we'll be safe just go!

{Reluctantly, PANDORA runs out of the building. As she's running the voice of the enchantress echoes through the building as she tells the PRINCE about how beauty lies within}

Scene 2:

[Days later, PANDORA returns to the palace in hope of finding the PRINCE]

PANDORA- {While searching through palace} Your highness? Your highness! {She begins to panic} Your majesty where are you?

BEAST- {While running out from a corner towards PANDORA.} Pandora, you're safe! {Reaches out to her}

PANDORA-{Screams and backs away} Where have you taken the prince?

BEAST-Pandora it's me!

PANDORA-Really? You thought you could fool me you ugly beast? You're not the prince. Now answer my question, where have you taken the prince?

BEAST- {Pleadingly} She cursed me. That witch. She said the curse could be broken by true love's kiss

PANDORA- Please, I stopped believing in fairy tales when I was 8!

BEAST- It's not a fairy tale it's true!

PANDORA- Sure it is! Where is he?

BEAST- {While pointing to his chest} Right here!

PANDORA- {Horrified} You've eaten him?

BEAST- No I-

PANDORA- Oh my god you have, haven't you?

{The BEAST does not have time to answer as Pandora runs away with tears in her eyes}

Scene 3:

[Many years later PANDORA is living in the small town which BELLE calls home. The citizens are preparing for a riot against the beast after BELLE has informed them about him]
