Aiden P.O.V.
I was on my way towards another party. College had its upsides, one of them was that there was a party almost every night and of course I was attending most of them. I had no idea why exactly I was going there all the time other than I just enjoyed fooling around with my friends watching them make complete fools out of themselves as they tried picking up girls for the night.
I was different from that, trust me I wasn’t always the careful guy. I had my fair share of girls when I was still in high school. But certain events had changed me drastically. I pulled over into the driveway of one of my friends and got out of my car seeing the party already in motion.
There were people all over the lawn, tipsy, drunk or stoned I smirked. Yeah this was a good party. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by some guys on the soccer team and one of them wrapped an arm around my shoulder.
‘’Scoring tonight Aiden.’’ He said and I could smell the beer on him rather strong.
‘’Hello to you too Cay. We’ll see about that hmm.’’ I answered as I grabbed a beer and took a sip. He laughed and pushed me lightly before he let go of me and walked towards some girl in the corner.
I continued my tour around the house and that’s when I noticed her. Red-ish hair slowly curling down towards blonde bright blue eyes that looked like she could pierce right through your soul. Hell she was gorgeous. She was wearing a short black skirt that wasn’t slutty but revealed enough to get attention and a loose grey top on top of it.
She was dancing with another girl who looked good as well but nothing compared to her. Whoever she was. I watched a guy walk up to her and dance along with her sexy movements I rolled my eyes but felt something in my stomach.
I frowned at my own thoughts as I noticed as I actually was slightly jealous with the guy. She apparently knew him cause she turned and started talking to him when he suddenly tried to kiss her. Something she seemed to be taken aback by and for a moment she let him but then I watched her slap him in the face.
I couldn’t help but laugh softly but I could see her face changed as she spoke. He now looked seriously offended and somewhat hurt. I was amused by watching this scene from afar but seeing the look on her face this was a lot more than just a stupid kiss.
I saw him waving his hands at her now he was clearly upset. ‘’You’re fucking insane!’’ I heard him yell out of a sudden and most of the heads turned to them. She swallowed and then ran out of the house. ‘’WHORE!’’ he yelled after her as the door slammed shut.
I hesitated for a moment but then walked outside as well seeing her sitting on the bench across the lawn. I stopped for a moment observing her, hearing her soft sobs now the music seemed softer. I slowly walked up to her and sat down on the bench as well.
‘’Hey, are you okay?’’ I whispered softly. She looked up at me her eyes red with tears.
‘’Yeah sure, these are just happy tears.’’ She snapped and I sighed softly.
‘’Sorry that was asking the obvious.’’ She smirked.
‘’And that was stating it dumbass.’’ I groaned softly and lifted my hands.
‘’Sorry for trying to help you out.’’ I said as I locked my eyes with hers.
‘’Yeah like you can solve the major mess I just created.’’ She said sarcastically but I could hear the hurt in her voice.
‘’With that guy you mean? Trust me that’ll be over tomorrow.’’ She shook her head and looked down at her hands now.
‘’No it won’t, I screwed this one up badly.’’ She sounded desperate right now.
