Chapter Eight

Shawn's POV (AGGGAAAIIINNNN)

The next morning I woke up earlier than usual. I had texted Jack last night and told him to meet me at Starbucks down the block.

I got ready and walked down to Starbucks. I ordered my favorite drink, along with Jack's. About five minutes later Jack walked in. He sat down across the table from me.

"So Shawn," Said Jack. "What'd you want to talk to me about?"

"Well. um I-II." I Stuttered nervously.

"You want to know if you can date my sister don't you?" Jack said, smirking.

My eyes widened. "Ho-How did you-"

He laughed. "It's kind of obvious that you like her. And yes, you can date her."

I could feel my smile growing bigger by the second. "Are you serious?"

Jack nodded. "Out of all of the boys, I think that you would be the best. I know that Taylor wants to date her, too. I just think he's bad for her. I mean he has a reputation with girls. I don't want her to get hurt again."

My brows furrowed."Wait,what do you mean again."

"Her first/last relationship didn't turn out well. It turns out that her stupid 'boyfriend' was a complete and utter jerk who cheated on her the very first day that they had started dating. He acted all sweet and romantic to her face while he would turn around and go cheat on her with someone else. They dated for eight months before anyone found out. Abbie was absolutely devastated. She wouldn't eat, wouldn't talk to anyone, and she wouldn't even look at another guy. In fact the only time i've seen her take an interest in someone since then is when she met you, Shawn."

"Jack, I swear that I won't do that to Isabelle. I'll take great care of her. You don't have anything to worry about."

"I better not." Jack said. He stood up. "We better get going, Magcon will start soon."

I stood up and Jack hugged me. I was suprised, but I hugged back.

"Take care of her, ok?" He said.

I nodded. "Of course."
