Chapter Nine

Abbie's POV

        I woke up and looked around the hotel room.  Shawn wasen't there. 

'That's weird' I thought.  In every single city we'd been to, not once had a woken up and Shawn was gone.

        I got out of bed and got ready. I decided to straighten my hair.  After that I made a waffle and headed down to the stage area.

        When I got down there everyone greeted me. There was still no Shawn and there was no Jack either.

"Where's Shawn and Jack?" I asked. 

         "They went to Starbucks." Jack J said.

        "WITHOUT ME!" I yelled. Starbucks was my absolute favorite place. 

        "At least we brought some back for you." I heard someone say.  I turned around and saw Jack. 

        "Thanks." I said taking it from his hands. "Where's Shawn?" I asked, still not seeing him. 

        "He had to go over some things with Bart before the show."

A man came over to all of us. "You're on in five." He said.

        The show went really smoothly the whole time. Then it was Shawn's Turn to perform.  He performed some different songs, but then he did something kind of strange.

        "Ok everyone. So I have a confession to make. There's this girl and I have a huge crush on her. I've wanted to ask her something for a while now, but I had to get her brother's permission first."

My eyes widened, realizing that he was talking about me.

        "Her name? It's the most beautiful name, it matches her beautiful personality, and her beautiful face.  I'm not very good at asking things by speaking so I figured that I'd sing instead."

He started struming his guitar.  "We'll do it all 

Everything 

On our own 

We don't need

My hands flew up to my mouth. I couldn't believe it. 

        Shawn finished singing. Carter went down the steps and handed Shawn a huge bouquet of white roses, my favorite flowers, from below the stage.

        "Abbie Gilinsky, will you please come up here?"  I walked up the steps, still kind of in shock. "Abbie, i've liked you since the day I met you. Will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" 

"Of course!" I exclaimed. We both leaned in, I put my hands around his neck and our lips touched. The crowd went crazy and so did the fireworks going off in my stomach. We pulled apart and both smiled. It was the best feeling. 

        In the corner of my eye I saw Taylor with a sort of disappointed expression, walk off. Worry crept into my mind, but I pushed it away. Nothing could ruin that moment.
