A deal I honestly can't refuse

Diana's pov

The unnatural green flash and then a figure before me that I only knew from stories and statues.

"Chronos" I did not mean for the name to slip from my lips.

The father of gods mouth twisted into a grin, but not the cruel sickly gruesome one I had expected. No it was a kind and sad one. He spoke

"Please princess I prefer you not use that name in the presence of young Daniel. For now refer to me as Clockwork." I noticed for the first time the small white haired boy peaking out from behind Chronos's cloak. The child must only be six or seven years.

Even with this new development I did not leave my defensive stance. "Why are you here Chronos? Why have you brought this child?" I spit my words at him and the child disappears behind him.

Chronos sighs "I mean no harm. Diana princess of Themyscira I have a request for you. Will you raise my ward Daniel James Fenton also known as Prince Phantom of the Ghost Zone. Will you be caretaker and teacher of this child until he reaches his crowning age?" He picks up the child who was draped in black and white robes and where legs should be there was only a wisp of dark smoke.

I step back. Shocked by this request. The child finally spoke. Not to me, but to Chronos.

"Clocky why can't I just keep staying with Pandora? She's royalty too. Or even princess Dora? Or-or you?" He looks sadly at Chronos as if he believed Chronos would keep him safe. That a man who ate his own children would care for this one. "We have been over this Daniel even though you lost your memories of your time alive you are still a halfa. You need to be around the living. You need to be around influences not driven by obsession. I know everything child. Diana is a good fit for you and for the Zones future."

He turned back to me. "I will leave him here. Do not fear should the need arrive I shall assist him, but know that I do not protect this world and when his time comes he will not be here to help you." He whispers something into the child's ear that makes the boy giggle. Setting the now smiling Daniel down he pats his head.

The being approaches me as I stand frozen. He lays his hand on my shoulder.

All at once I hear a bell ring. There's a flash and only Daniel is in front of me now. Then light envelops the small body and a little boy with black hair and blue eyes like my own is standing there. Different, but held the same face as the one before. He's dressed as any young one here would be with a big red backpack strapped onto him.

"Hi princess Di- Dio- Dian...
Hi princess!"

I mean I'm not going to just leave this child here. I believe I should speak to Batman he seems to know about children.

Hey guys... so this idea really struck me. I know there are a ton of DP and YJ crossovers already, but this one gave me some fun ideas. I am thinking about some of your other ideas, but I'm a sucker for a small Danny.
