FADE IN:

EXT. Minnesota morning fog

Moon residence home is modernized trailer home; They live by a creek on the edge of their neighborhood near the woods

INT. Moon Residents/Hallway - Morning

A boy, 17 years old dressed for school, walking down the hallway stops at the door and begins to knock

Kenai:

Ready for you first day at school

Kenai talks through the door to his little sister, who apparently isn't ready to go

Nina:

yeah can't wait, so fun

Kenai walks in the room and looks at his little sister Nina, she holds a picture in her hand

Kenai:

Come on I can smell you, Nina I know your nervous, it going to be okay, you're going to learn to control it

Nina:

it's not that [she stares at the picture of her and her twin brother] he would have loved his first day, now I have to be alone

Kenai:

Don't worry about Claudio okay, you will do just fine, plus you got your big brother Kenai here to help

Nina:

Yeah, right You

Kenai begins to put his arm around Nina

Kenai:

Oh come on don't say it like that I got your back, you ready

Nina:

yeah I think so, let me just grab my backpack

Nina forgets to grab her backpack and camera motions towards the picture

EXT. Nina's room/ Hallway – Morning

The Moon family in the kitchen. Kenai and Nina's mother Xena, and Father Luca make breakfast for them on the first day of school, Luca burning the eggs and her Xena making putting them on the plate and handing the food out to the kids like nothing is wrong, Kenai looks at the food in disgust.

Luca:

morning my beautiful pup

Xena:

oh Luca come on she isn't a pup anymore; she's our little wolf girl

[grabbing her faces as she says this]

Nina:

ugh, guys come on, I'm a teenager now

Luca and Xena:

well, sorry teenager

[they begin to laugh]

Luca:

Kolby where are you, you're going to be late for school [yelling]

Kolby the middle brother walks out of his room half-dressed and dragging his backpack on the floor, enter the kitchen where the rest of the family is
