Scott's POV.
I stroked Mitch's hair. There's something off with him, but I don't know what.
He cuddled up to me and I smiled. We've been through so much, just a few days and he's mine for real. I can't believe I am actually marrying someone. I've always thought I wasn't good enough for this huge step in life.
"I love you, babyboy." I whispered.
Mitch hummed sweetly and I felt his heartbeat against my arm.
I kissed his forehead and slowly we fell asleep.
-
"Mornting!" Mitch yelled from the kitchen.
Ugh, he knows me so well. I don't wanna let the cold wrap around my body.
"Pancakes!" Mitch yelled again.
"Alright! I'm up!" I yelled back.
A few minutes later I walked into the kitchen and I wrapped my arms around Mitch.
"Smells good, gorgeous." I smiled.
"Duh! Because I am the one who makes them. If I let you make them, we'll end up with burnt pancakes." Mitch sassed.
I let out a laugh and shaked my head.
"So I am marrying this sassy girl huh?" I chuckled.
"As long as you know it." Mitch smiled.
I kissed him on his cheek and looked him in the eyes.
"How do you feel today?" I asked.
"Pretty good. Why?" Mitch answered.
"I don't know. Sometimes you fall silent and I don't know what's going on." I said.
Mitch frowned and shrugged.
"Could be the nerves." Mitch smiled.
"Are you nervous? I mean, I understand. It's a big step." I smiled back.
I slip his hands into mine.
"Just a little. I hate that Henry is walking around as a free man..." Mitch sighed.
"Ah, you're scared." I said.
Mitch nodded.
"I have a bad feeling, the stir in the belly kind of feeling." He admitted.
I tried to stay calm. I know Mitch's intuition. It's always accurate.
"I'm sorry you feel that way, babygirl." I said.
"Yeah, I need to focus on Saturday." Mitch sighed.
"Hey. It's okay to be scared." I whispered and I wrapped my arms around him.
"I know..." Mitch whispered back.
"Lets's eat our delicious breakfast?" I suggested.
Mitch nodded and put the pancakes on plates in front of us. We ate our breakfast, it really was delicious. She's a good cook!
"Yummy!" I exclaimed.
"I guess I'll be making pancakes forever from now on." Mitch laughed.
"Yes, please." I said.
"I am not sure if I want to." Mitch said.
"Hmm... You know what? I am going to take a shower now so you can think about that." I smirked.
"What about me? I wanna join." Mitch pouted.
"Do you think I didn't hear you shower this morning?" I laughed.
"Shit." Mitch said.
I kissed Mitch on his nose and went upstairs to take a shower.
-
I felt fresh and fruity again. A shower does wonders to me. I walked downstairs.
"A shower does grea - MITCH!!" I exclaimed.
"Long time no see..." Henry smirked.
Mitch sat on his knees and looked at me with bright blue eyes... Wait... His eyes were BLUE again!
"Mitch, are you okay?" I asked as I tried to walk closer to him.
I could attack Henry right now, but seeing Mitch in this position broke my heart and I didn't wanna cause more trouble.
Mitch stared at me and whimpered.
At that very moment I felt my eyes burn and I covered them with my hand. When I lowered my hand again, Mitch gasped.
"S...Scott. Your eyes! Red... Scott..." Mitch stuttered.
"Well well... What do we have here, Scott? Or should I say... Alpha?" Henry said.
I looked at Mitch and he stared at me, his mouth still open. Suddenly a wave of terror came over me. What's going on?!
