To understand the world and its inhabitants a lesson the Weterias vast history is in order. First, let's begin with the elves. They were the first to arrive in Weteria, they claim to be natives but that remains to be determined. But they began to create wonderous buildings and roads out of the trees shaping their forests into havens from the beastfolk that roamed. The massive redwood trees would serve as houses and schools, all very connected and they were masters of camouflage. From what we know they lived as the only well developed being for around two hundred years most elves can live to be about eight hundred so many were still young when the Dwarves emerged out of their mountain homes to take the hills and highlands. The elves would watch as they planted wheat and were disturbed when they cut down trees to make houses. This one act would lead to the War of Trees. Where the current Elven leader Amotir beheaded Orin the chieftan of the Hill Dwarves. This would lead to the Native Mountain Dwarves to avenge their fallen. Their leader Galliun would wage war on the elves for a hundred years before both sides agreed to a truce. The dwarves would stay in their mountains and the elves their forests. This peace would last forty years until the humans arrive from the continent of Glacia to the north. The humans were short-lived only making it to a mere 80 before death. But they built strong castles and once the settled they were built to last. They tried to make peace with the elves but they considered themselves too great to ever deal with such inferior creatures. But the Dwarves respected the humans' tenacity and drive for glory. So they accepted the humans into their culture teaching the ways wrought iron. And it was then the alliance between the two races was founded and had existed ever since. The elves seeing the threat made a preemptive strike against them. The elves began to slaughter the human-dwarf alliance and such the warforged were created by dwarven smiths and human wizards. These machinations were unsurpassed in battle. The elves were beaten back into their woods and now rarely leave their forests. Only for trade and on the rare occasion an adventurer is seen. The warforged no longer needed were allowed to live as citizens within Weteria, and it would seem they are immortal, as none have died from age in the last thousand years. In these years peace ensued. Which brings us to the second era. Where our story begins.
