If you had read the brief history you would be aware of the two wars between Elf and Dwarf. What we covered then was as titled a brief history. To understand why the Elf Ellenwood snuck in into Arinfell, evesdropped by the entrance until Glamis said the incantation, snuck in with Glamis then shot Dextrem, you must understand the several atrocities committed by the Dwarves. In the War of Trees, we covered that the Elves considered themselves the natives of the land, but the Mountains Dwarves claim the same. Now when the war broke out when the Hill Dwarves began deforesting the area, to Elves that was their most precious resource being taken without any sort of permission granted, the ultimate thievery. This rage would boil in their leader Amotir who is still alive at the time of the First Blight when the dead rose. His decision to behead Orin was one he thought to be pure and to protect his people from the invading Dwarves. Galliun seeing a nation of his people harmed saw the opposite. Elves overreacting and bloodthirsty. When he went to the aid of the Hill Dwarves he saw it as protecting his people from vicious monsters in the woods. These two different perspectives would lead to certain atrocities committed on both sides. One of which our dear Elven assassin Ellenwood, was just a mere one-hundred and fifty, which for an Elf was preteen. She saw Wendell, Dextrem's grandfather, fight the Battle of Eagle's Crest, a large Elven settlement deep into the center of their forests. Unable to pinpoint the archers who raining hell from above. They burned down the section of forest and were it not for the quick reaction of her older brother who leaped from the window before the flames spread too far up there three home, she would have perished. Her parents were killed in the fire and her brother a three-hundred and forty, late teens, was killed by a Dwarf named Xax. Ellenwood saw her entire family and neighbors be burned alive and killed with warhammers and greatswords. The shell shock from the event would force her into training as an expert killer, but to her dismay, the war was over before she was ready. Continuing her training in hopes at another chance to kill those who were in command of the battle, Wendell, Fellen, and Cronon. She became a master of the bow. She then added Xax to her list for the death of her brother, Dotoir. When the Blight began the Forests were affected too, claiming the lives of several elves. In the last thousand years, she had grown to a ripe 1049 years old. Longer than the lifespan, but not too unnatural, as if a human grandmother made it to 90 rather than 80. The dwarves could live for four-hundred years. so her old quarry was long dead, but their descendants were not.
