A certain darkness is needed to be able to see the stars.
I look up to the stars & wish.
We could've been something.
I'm a star in your sky.
Yet you chose to love me.
When I became dim, you became distant.
Then we wait for the sun.
You go away, I go away.
But never forget the sun is also a star.
I'd imagine myself as the sun.
Like I imagined I was the one for you.
If I went out, I could wait.
I could resurrect as the sun.
Like I can still be the one for you.
To my moon, as your sun waits for you.
