1st pov

As we arrive we are all told to head up to the castle in the middle of the island. That's where Pegasus is at wonder what are host has to say.

Soon as all the duelist gather around the castle front door I cross my arms waiting for his arrival.

"Greetings every one I'm Pegasus" I feel my anger dwell up that I might just-

I feel someone grab my shoulder as I look back I see Joey "don't let him get to you okay. At least not yet okay".

I nod my head "right".

As Pegasus ends the basic rules of the competition we all set out to find somebody to duel. Rules we're simple duel for your star chips. Once you collected ten you enter the castle and losers get sent home.

I don't plan to lose .. hate to say this but I plan to pick off the weaker opponents. I saw lot of people who even I think might get eliminated by the end of today if I can just-

"Weevil duel me!" I raise my head to see Weevil who stands right in front of us. As we all glare at him he begins to run away.

"After him!" Joey says with everyone following right behind him.

Damn.

As I follow along the group they were so ahead of me. What are they track stars how are they so far I can't even catch up.

I stop to take a breath until I hear some close by muttering. I decide to go to the near by voices as I reach there I see two duelist battles. The stadiums begin to lower.

"Guess it ended" one duelist began to cry while the other one was excited holding his star chips.

Guess a perfect time to duel. I walk over to the winner of duelist "wanna duel for 2 star chips?"

"Your on! Don't think that your a girl I'm going to go easy on you" I feel a vein pop out my forehead. I take a deep breath "let's duel!"

1st Pov

"I guess I won better luck next time" I look down at my glove holding 4 star chips.

6 more to go , and I'll win my ticket way into the castle. Still I feel like I'm missing something?

I hear lot more muttering a head of me. More dueling I should check it out. As I get closer I see-

"Yugi!"

Everyone glances back to me.

"(Y/n) where were you? You missed out on a lot. I now got 3 star chips. As for Joey.."

"(Y/n) your back! I'm glad nothing happened to you!" he yells out.

"HEY jerk I'm in the middle of kicking your butt !" I giggle slightly. I look over to Tristan , and Tea.

"How's his battle so far guys?"

"Not good Mai has a whole army of harpies ready to attack Joey in his next turn."

As I look up I see 3 harpies versys his baby dragon.

"Yes that's quite difficult still there might be a way for him to win. Yugi gave him a card while back that can be useful. Still drawing the card might be a slim chance."

"She's right there is that card" Yugi says.

"Well I hope this card comes up soon because the next turn his done." Tea says so worried.

"You got this Joey!" I yell out!

"Right!" he draws his card and soon his face brightens in excitement. I soon feel my face light up in excitement and I look up and see the face on Mai's face.

"I'll play time wizard" soon his time wizard pops onto the field beginning to turn back time.

Mai still smirking at him , "so what your thousand dragon is still weaker than my harpies".

What she doesn't see it that her harpies aren't the strong harpies she had last turn.

"Look at your harpies who've gotten old , and all shriveled up. Now thousand dragon attack her harpies".

As his thousand dragon attacked her harpies I begin to think how much his changed. Guess he isn't all talk and finally proved himself to someone like Mai.

"I did it you guys!" Joey hugs Tristan and Tea.

I raise my hand giving him a thumbs up , "you did it! All because of your sister. She would be proud of what your doing Joey.. I mean it".

"At this pace we will enter that castle in no time." Joey says.

"Yes even though we might encounter maybe stronger enemies we can do it!"

"Yeah!" we all shout.
