Dear Tadibaaaz Billu Ji
If you've finally managed to scare anyone you could possibly spot at home, calm down. Take a deep breath and sit down. I'm right here, next to you, always am, always will be.
Shivaay instinctively placed his right hand over his chest, something Annika always made him do whenever she said this to him. As if she was making him feel his heartbeat, because his heart is truly where she belongs.
You know at times you forget to tell me about things, or should I say you purposefully don't. Usually that's because my Possessive Singh Oberoi cares a lot about his wife. But sometimes you simply forget you are married to someone apart from your business. So while I was looking for one of your files last night, I found our old camcorder. I decided to sit there and go through all our old pictures and videos. Guess what I found there? A message for me. Yes a message that you recorded and then had never sent to me. That's the number one rule of writing letters Billu Ji, you need to post them so that the other person gets them. I bet the same goes for video messages too, you need to send them to the person they're for.
Anyhow, I watched the entire video and all I can say is Billu Ji thankyou. I never realized so much how my Tadibaaaz Baghadbilla had irrevocably fallen in love with his Pannika. Well to be honest, you never needed to even confess that because you were right, our love is above all this, above basic expressions, above normal comprehensions. But still, to look back at our entire journey, it was just such a surreal experience, almost like through your words you made me live all those moments, all over again.
You remember Shivaay, you always used to say you do not know how to express yourself and your feelings, well if this is how you are when you can't, I can only imagine how much more beautiful it would be if you could.
Shivaay you remember the first time I met you. You broke a line at a place of worship because you thought that was how it was supposed to be, thanks to your social status. I despised you that day Shivaay, because you believed you were superior. I turned your windscreen to bits because that was all I could do to tell you, I too can break things I can pay for. After that day Shivaay, we both built a lot together, and witnessed a lot tumble down. But in all this fiasco Shivaay, you learnt to put behind Shivaay Singh Oberoi sometimes, and become just my Shivaay. You valued me and my happiness above your principles. The woman you once never wanted to see again, you now tell you're all I always want to see. The woman you once couldn't bear in your household, now you proudly claim completes your home.
Shivaay you were once not ready to call me your wife. Now you leave me teary-eyed every time you address me as your wife, with so much love, pure love. You've loved me enough to teach me how it is to love my own self even more. Shivaay I was always strong but there were voids I only cloaked but you've filled, and I could possibly never thank you enough.
Our daughter will be so proud of you Shivaay, the best husband, and the best father-to-be.
Yours Truly
Sirf Pannika"Our daughter...?" Shivaay raised his head from the piece of paper and Annika stepped up in front of him, from behind the poolside curtains. Shivaay couldn't understand what had just happened. She spoke up about their daughter, after so long. He looked up at her with his lost eyes, her smirk was a befitting reply to all his questions. He rushed to her and cupped her face in his hands. "Annika you mean you are...", his eyes were searching for a reply in hers. She nodded through her teary smile and his grin got wider. In one swift move he lifted her off her feet and twirled in happiness and joy. "I'm going to become a father? A Dad?", she reassuringly looked into his eyes resting her palms on his cheeks. She nodded again and he twirled even faster until she finally urged him to put her down.
"Thankyou Annika! Thankyou!", he whispered as he bent forward to lay a kiss on her forehead, before capturing her in a bone-crushing hug.
