When Shivaay and Annika fall out of Mihir's trance, they narrate the tale of all that they experienced in Mihir's alternative universe. Their description ends at their alternate selves finally being happily married, before they find a way to escape from Mihir's mind control tactics.
Shivaay repeats for himself again:
"Saccha pyaar karne wale kismat ko hara dete hain, muqaddar ko chuka dete hain, aur saari qayanat ko majboor kar dete hain, ke woh unhe milaakar hi rahe."
And adds on:
"You changed our very core. Made us completely different people. Had us do things we wouldn't even dream of ever. Turned me dark and destructive yet vulnerable. Weakened my Annika to an unimaginable extent. Had me vilify, disrespect and dishonor my ladylove and my love. But in the end we were still meant to be together, that is destiny, and we are soulmates. Whether you admit it or not."
Mihir furiously accepts defeat by merely not saying anything in reply. The couple leaves and heads back home to live on together, happily. They return to their daily lives and routines, until this one day when things begin to change again...
