one twenty am
Levi closes the garage door, and we make our way towards the loft building.
"Hey guys." Phoebe warns.
"The door is open." I look at Levi and then at the door. Maybe we forgot to close it.
"We shouldn't jump to conclusions." Luke says but I can hear the panic in his voice. Levi cautiously takes a look inside.  "Someone was in here." I frown and walk past him to see the second door wide open. "Come on." I say walking up the stairs and into the loft slowly. The whole place is trashed. The couches are cut up, equipment all over the floor some of it gone even, and the hologram is destroyed.
"Fuck." Luke sighs. I'm guessing this isn't the first time this has happened.
"I'm gonna go check the rest of the building." Levi informs us walking away and Luke follows him. Phoebe stays silent and starts picking up the equipment.
A moment later Luke comes back.
"Guys come look at this." He says and walks back into the hall. Without hesitation Phoebe and I follow him to the kitchen to see a a huge symbol spray painted on the wall; The Vipers.
"The Vipers." Phoebe huffs out and covers her mouth.
"This wasn't a robbery..." I blurt.
"It was a warning." Levi finishes my sentence."They know we're taking stealing the keys again." Luke says and sits down in a chair. "Why does it matter to them? They already got the money they wanted! Whenever we're getting to the end this happens." Phoebe paces back and forth.
"They didn't take them this time."
"What?" She stops and Levi repeats himself. "The keys are here."
I've been giving The Keys to Levi but he never tells me where he hides them.
"We need rest if we wanna have the energy to find the last two Keys. I'll take the couch to watch the front door." He explains rubbing his eyes. "We can rotate." Luke suggests. "So that's it? We watch the door and act like this didn't just happen? Why don't we go to the Pexagon! Or tell Edi-"
"The last time we did that one of us got killed and the keys were stolen. Edith won't help us or protect us Erra! This... this is all we have! We're hired to do her dirty work; doesn't matter if we die or not." Luke scolds me. He right. Im letting my personal feelings intervene. I don't know what it is but this strange feeling consumes me.
I feel sick. I'm so close to finding my fathers killer but also so close to losing myself. A lot has happened in just one day, and it's throwing me off.
"Erra." Levi calls out my name pulling me out of my thoughts and I snap my head up to look at him. Uninvited tears begin to stream down my face but I clean them quickly them away and avoid eye contact.
I need to see Eli.
"Goodnight." I mumble and walk away without another word. My heart is beating vigorously against my chest, and my breathing gets heavy. The room seems to be getting smaller and smaller, with every exhale. I need to get out of here.
Running my hands through my hair I sit on my bed and try to hold back the emotions raging inside of me; but I can't. Grabbing a pillow I shove my face in it and scream as loud as I can sobbing in the process.I need to wait until everyone falls asleep then I'll leave. How will I get there? I wonder if i'll get in trouble. Gaining control of my breathing I pull my shoes off and turn on my side and allow my pillow collect my tears until it's time.

Two fifty am
Quickly sliding on my boots on I pull my hair up into a ponytail and slowly tip toe out of my room. Everyone is passed out; or at least I think so. I walk down the hall into the living room where Luke is snoring on the couch, and I bite the inside of my lip trying not to make any noise. Wrapping my hand around the knob I slowly turn it open and quickly exit. Running down the steps I exit through the first door and make sure it properly closed then run straight to the garage. Placing my thumb on the scanner the door opens and I rush to grab a random key. Hoping into the drivers seat of Luke's silver mobile I start it up and reverse out. The mobile screeches and I cringe at the thought of it waking them up. I'm not the best at flying these things but I need to get answers; whatever it takes.
