Chapter 22

Randy closed the door behind me. "Randy since we are going to see Blake later on today..." I cut myself off when I saw Randy's expression he looked odd,like he was frozen.

"Randy?" I leaned my hand to touch him,he swatted my hand away.

"DON'T TOUCH ME!!" I looked at him for a second he looked scared a face I rarely seen. "Randy, what's wrong?" I moved my hand to touch his arm this time he didn't yell at me.

"You know what let's go sit down on that couch over there." I led him to the red velvet couch near other side of the room. As soon as we sat down Randy's facial features seemed to soften but only slightly. "Cleo,I'm sorry I yelled at you it's just I haven't fed in a while."

Now that I think about it Randy looked a little paler than usual I knew we had to feed every 5 months. I still had four more months but Randy looked like he hasn't fed in about a year.

"Randy why didn't you say anything I could have let you fed off of me before I turned." He turned his body to me and took my hand in his.

"We were practically strangers and I barely knew you and I didn't want to overwhelm you with this nonsense." I looked at him with tears brimming my eyes how could he say this so effortlessly without looking hurt?

"NO don't say that I may be a newly turned vampire but I know that if we don't feed regularly we may die. So don't say it like it's nothing I'm not going to lose you."

Randy just looked at me and smiled.

I was going to let him feed I just had to find a way to do it. I gave Randy a quick kiss before making my way to the door.

I know I came here to talk but I needed to find someone who was willing to let Randy feed off of them. "Please don't leave yet." He was instantly in front of me his green eyes looking glassy.

"I want to go find someone who is willing to let you feed off of them. I promise I'll be back sooner than you know." He stared at me for a moment before moving aside.

"Promise?" I laughed to myself  before saying,"I promise" As soon as I was outside of his room I started wandering around looking for any servant who looked.....edible or something close to that.

I barely saw servants or maids around but I knew I was bound to find one soon or instead of me bringing them to him I should probably just draw blood from them,yeah I'll go with that option instead.

I walked around for awhile,but it wasn't long until I came across a servant. It was the girl servant who I had met on my first night here her name was Maria.

She looked like she was cleaning something I made my way over to her my footsteps making a small thump every time I walked closer to her.

Maria turned around to face me a startled look on her face before she hid it with a smile.

"Hello,may I help you miss?" I nodded matching her smile."I was wondering if I could get some of your blood for my friend he needs to feed.

Maria looked at me her eyes looking into mine before replying,"Sure Miss. Sydeny says if any of the guests need to feed we are to let them." Her voice was soft and delicate which I found intoxicating I went to grab a cup to pour her blood in.

"This may pinch a little." I assured her.

She just smiled and gave me her arm I took her arm in my hand and pressed my fangs onto her skin. Her blood was sweet like honey I let out a small growl I wanted to drink it but I remembered what I had to do.

I pulled my fang away from her skin and pour her blood into the cup and let it drip into the cup until it was half full.

I pricked my finger and pressed it to Maria's skin the wound healing. "Thanks for the blood Maria I will repay you." Maria nodded and walked away after shaking my hand.

I made my way to Randy's room when I opened the door Randy was sitting on the couch with a book in his hand.

"Ahem,I have something for you." Randy looked over to me and dropped his book. I gave him the cup of blood so he could drink it.

After he had drunk the cup of blood his face looked less pale. He took me in his arms and kissed me lightly I tasted a little bit of Maria's blood on his lips.

After we pulled apart I said,"We have to get down to the kitchen for lunch so let's get going." I walked outside and went to my room to change while Randy was getting changed.

I put on a Black tank-top and a White skirt. I even put matching white pumps. I walked out of my room and went to go meet Randy by the stairs.

He wore a red tux and a white tie. His shoes was brown and red hair was slicked with gel. "Ready?" He asked I replied, "Ready as I'll ever be." We walked down to the kitchen hand in hand.
