As you are getting ready for the day you look at our pet betta fish and remember the first time you saw him. It was a warm summer day when you went to the pet store. You had been planning on getting a pet betta fish for some time. You had everything ready for him you just needed to find him. You weren't sure what kind or color of betta to get you decided that you just let God lead you to the betta that he wanted you to take care of. As you walked to the live fish where the bettas where kept you notice that are no bettas at all! Suddenly one of the store employees comes out of a room with a cart that has cups of bettas on it. She asks, "Hello can I help you?" you tell her you wanted to buy a betta but you couldn't find any. "Oh, that's because we just go these in and I just finished changing their water before I put them on the shelf, but if you see one you like you can go ahead and take him. Here I will let you look at them before I put their lids on." You lean over and look at all the bettas. Some are veiltails and some are halfmoons. They are in many different colors, but all are male. Suddenly you see one that is trying to jump out of his cup! "Oops! I better put his lid on!" as she does this you feel like you want to look at him more and pick him up. Has he looks at you for a while and you feel as if you know him already. "Be careful with that one! He has tried to jump out and attack everyone!" the employee says to you. As you look back at him you could swear he was smiling at you. "I like this one. I think I'll get him." The employee smiles at you and you think her as you go to the register to pay for him. Once you get him home and you have acclimated him to his new tank he begins to swim up to the top and suddenly he speaks to you saying, "Give me two bloodworms and I shall tell you something very important." He swims to the surface as you open the jar of freeze dried bloodworms. You place two worms in his tank for him. He eagerly eats them. When he is finished he looks at you for a long while. Suddenly he speaks, "These words of wisdom are not my own; for they come from God. Look to Matthew 7:21; For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." You smile and realize you have the right betta fish.
