It's Thanksgiving Day and your family is at your house. The men are in the living room watching football and the women are in the kitchen telling you how to cook everything. Suddenly your Dad comes in looking white as a ghost. Your Mom sets him down and he says, "That fish talked to me!" Your Mom looks at you. "I told you he does that." You say checking on the turkey. No one seems to believe you or your Dad that your betta fish can talk but you don't worry about it. No one ever believes you. As the family sets down for the thanksgiving meal you see your fish swimming around watching from the tank stand to the other side of the dinning room. After Grandpa says grace there is a loud voice that says, "These words of wisdom are not my own; for they come from God. Look to 1 Thessalonians 5:18, In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." Everyone looks at your betta fish in surprise. You just clap and smile at him as he swims in a circle.
