Regina ' s point of view
When we arrived home;
Desmond went upstairs to do his homework.
Dennis is at the hall watching Fantastic 5
I came to the kitchen to get myself water
" What the hell ?? Where is all the food gone to ??"
That was what I said when I opened the fridge
" Regina why are you yelling ? " Dennis questions me as he comes to the kitchen
" The fridge is empty " I inform him
" What ?? You must be kidding ? " Dennis said
" Fine ! Come and check if am kidding " I said to him
" What?? So is true , but there was food in it in the morning " Dennis said when he opened the fridge
" You brats are finally back from school. " our mother says
" Here is some good news. I emptied the fridge. " our mother says
" That's not good news .Why did you empty the fridge ? " I angrily said
" While is good news to me because I don't need to use the same fridge as you brats. " she said with gritted teeth
" What nonsense are you saying ? " I yell to her
" Mind your speech little girl. You must respect me whether you like it or not .” she warns me
" Why would we respect you ? You don't take care of us. Am sorry but Respect doesn't go for you. " Dennis confesses
" I bought a new fridge for myself and transferred the foods to it. " she informs us
" I want you guys to starve. " she tells us
" Am going out. Bye brats" she tells us as she walks away
When she left, Desmond came to the kitchen
" What's wrong ? Why you guys angry ? " Desmond questions us using sign language
" You won't believe what she did this time. " Dennis said using sign language
" What did she do this time ? " Desmond questions us using sign language
" She has emptied the fridge and transferred the foods to her new fridge . " I inform him using sign language
" What?? That's unbelievable . " He says using sign language
" I know right. " I said using sign language
Just then his phone beeps. Am sure is a message
Desmond removed the phone from his pocket to check the message. When he checked the message .He frowns
" What is it Desmond ? " I question him
" I have to go to work. My boss needs me urgently." Desmond says using sign language
" What?? So what are we going to eat? " Dennis questions him
" Umm.... Eat the emergency snacks I bought for you guys in the morning. " Desmond tells us using sign language
“ But Desmond I ate mine during lunch. ” Dennis complains
" If that's so eat mine. I didn't drink my cocktail and I didn't eat my meat pies " Desmond tells Dennis using sign language
" Okay " Dennis said using sign language
" I have to go. " Desmond said using sign language
" But Desmond - - " Dennis and I said together but Desmond cuts us
" Sorry guys , I have to go." Desmond said using sign language then leaves
What work does Desmond do ?
Are the kids going to starve till he finds a solution ?
