Desmond's point of view
" Doc, is it going to work? " Christiana questions the doctor for what seemed to be the hundredth time.
" Yes Christiana! Am an expert in cases like this despite he doesn't have a throat and voice box ." The doctor kept assuring Christiana.
Christiana sighs and releases air , she wasn't aware she was hiding.
She looks too worried . What else could happen if it doesn't work..
... No,no ... I dismiss that idea quickly
" Are you sure you want this to be done quickly and today? It seems you are doubting me." The doctor questions Christiana
" Oh no , am not doubting you. You are the doc , you know the left and right in this situation and as you said you are an 'expert in cases like this' .So I have to trust you , I just want the best for Desmond. " Christiana sincerely speaks her thoughts
The doctor smiles briefly and says;
" I will take good care of your boyfriend, don't worry . He will be fine. Is normal for you to doubt me , since you are his girlfriend."
" Am not his - -" Christiana begins to retort but silenced herself
Christiana told me that am going to get my voice back today. While am still doubting if that's possible . I don't believe it is. Is that even possible ?
Christiana watches me with fear in her purple rare eyes. I gaze back at her with a doubtful look.She kisses me on the scalp." Hope for the best .... luck!"

All of a sudden Christiana is separated from me . Am in a huge room which Christiana once told me is called " Theatre "
3hours later
He is still sleeping Doc
He will wake up soon , then we will know if it worked or not
I hear the voices say
" Christiana! ...
Christiana!" I whisper her name pain evident in my throat
" Yes Desmond. Am here. Wait did you just whisper my name?" Christiana questions me
I smile so wide just like a storm has just gone
Then I try to speak again
" Y- Yes I - I j- just whispered y-your sweet name." The pain in my throat lessens a bit as I try to speak
Those two words made her blush and I was glad am the reason behind it.
The doctor smiled and excused himself
As soon as he left , I started to play with Christiana's checks
Then she blushed even more
" Christiana! You are one of a kind. Girls like you are rare to find , that's why am going to cherish you till death." I spoke those words sincerely.
Since last week . I have begin to realise that I feel something for Christiana . I don't know if that's what they call "feelings" . I don't know if that's what they refer to as ' falling in love' .
If that's how to describe it . Then am in love with Christiana
"Desmond , you have been doing that for an hour now." Christiana calls my attention
"Sorry" I blush out of embarrassment when I realised I have been caressing her checks for that long.
"It's nothing" Christiana said , smiled and cried
"Why are you crying? " I question her
" You are talking. I can't believe it."
Me too!
She's my everything and she showed me how to live .She's done so much for me. I wish I could repay her it . But I don't know how to.
" What will I have done without you. Thanks Christiana. I really appreciate all that you have done for me and especially today . You have made human again . Now I can talk just like everyone else .All this is new to me. And all this is your doing . I really appreciate it. Thanks a lot. "
