Chapter 18

Kayden's Pov
Leah rolls her eyes and looks out the window. I say. "I saw that." She says. "Idc what you saw," Cole says. "Where are we going Kayden?" Leah says. "That's what I want to know,but he being secretive," Hazel says. "Ok, Y'all need to get off his back." Leah says. "Why are you taking up for him?" Hazel says. "He's trying to be romantic Leah." Leah rolls her eyes and I say. "Why you keep rolling your eyes?" She says. "Mhm, no reason." I pull up at the go-kart place and Leah smacks me. "You could've told us we were coming here,"  I hold the side of my head. "Damn why you hit me that hard bae?"
Cole says. "I'm thinking we going to a restaurant or something." Leah shakes her head. "Hungry ass." We get out and walk inside and I look at Leah. "I know you not mad." She says. "Why would I be mad?" I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her. Hazel says. "Aww look at the cute couple." Leah turns around and looks at her and Hazel says. "What I'm just saying." Leah says. "When you gone get with Cole?"  I say. "That's what I want to know?" We walk inside and Cole says. "It's girls versus boys." Leah says. "Nigga y'all know y'all going to lose." I look at her. "We not bae." She rolls her eyes and Hazel says. "Ok,but losers have to do what me and Leah say for a month."
I say. "We not going to lose." Leah says. "Anyways y'all ready." Hazel grabs Leah's hand and drag her off. Cole looks at me. "Watch them bro." They walk back over to us and Cole says. "Y'all trying to cheat." Leah says. "Boy we don't have to cheat." We walk further in the building and we get in the go-karts. We drive around in the go-karts for a few hours and get out. Hazel says. "Girls win." I say. "Y'all cheated." Leah looks at me. "Don't be a sore loser." We walk outside and get in the car and Cole says. "Aight now I'm hungry." I say. "Nigga we about to go eat." I drive off and Leah plugs her phone up and turns on her music. Hazel says. "Why you so quiet?" She shakes her head and looks out the window. Cole says. "Mhm." Leah says. "Why you doing all that?" I say. "What y'all want to eat?" Hazel says. "It doesn't matter." I shake my head and drive to Wendy's and glance over at Leah. "You straight?" She says dryly. "Yeah." I shake my head. "You not cause you said that shit dry asf." I stop at a red light and I look at her. "Tell me what's up with you?" She looks at me and says. "Nothing I'm good." I shake my head and I start back driving. I pull up in Wendy's drive through and I order everybody's food. I pay for everything and I get the food and drinks and drive to Leah's house. Hazel says. "Leah you sure you good?" She doesn't say anything and I pull up at the house a few minutes later. We all get out and walk inside.
Mason's Pov
I drive to Amber's house and I pull up a few minutes later and I get out and walk inside. She looks at me and says. "I said don't come back." I ignore her and I walk upstairs in the bedroom and get in the bed. I get my phone and decide to text Leah.
Me:why you not at home
Leah: what you worried about it for Mason
Me: cause we need to talk
Leah: we don't Mason
Me: we do Leah
Leah: Mason we don't
Me: I'm coming to see you tomorrow and you better be at home
Leah: I don't know why and I don't want to see you
Me: that nigga better not be there either
Leah: bye Mason
Amber walks in the room and looks at me. I shake my head and say. "What?" She says. "Nothing." I get up and walk in the bathroom and do my hygiene stuff. I put on my clothes and I walk out the bathroom and get in the bed. I turn on the tv and Amber says. "Why you trying to talk to Leah so bad?" I say. "Cause I need to explain something to her." She looks at me and gets in the bed. I put my phone on the charger and say. "I'm going to see her tomorrow." I watch tv for awhile until I fall asleep. I wake up the next morning and I see that Amber's still sleep. I get up and walk in the bathroom and do my hygiene stuff and I put on my clothes and grab my phone and keys and walk downstairs. I walk outside and get in my car and drive to Leah's house. I pull up at her house and get out and knock on the door. Some dude comes to the door. I look at him and say. "Where Leah at and who are you?" He looks at me and says. "She don't want to see you,so you need to stop coming here." He slams the door in my face and I get my phone and call Leah but she doesn't answer.
