Chapter 19

   Leah's Pov
Hazel grabs my hand and drag me off. "Leah we got to win cause I don't want to lose." I look at her and say. "Girl we are going to win now let's go." We walk back over to the boys and Cole says. "Y'all trying to cheat." I say. "Boy we don't have to cheat." We walk further in the building and we get in the go-karts. We drive around in the go-karts for a few hours and get out. Hazel says. "Girls win." Kayden says. "Y'all cheated." I look at Kayden. "Don't be a sore loser." We walk outside and get in the car and Cole says. "Aight now I'm hungry." Kayden says. "Nigga we about to go eat." Kayden drives off and I plug my phone up and turn on my music. Hazel says. "Why you so quiet?" I shake my head and look out the window. Cole says. "Mhm." I  turn around and look at him. "Why you doing all that?"  He shakes his head and I turn back around. Kayden says. "What y'all want to eat?" Hazel says. "It doesn't matter." My phone dings and I see I got a text from Mason.
Mason:why you not at home
Me: what you worried about it for Mason
Mason: cause we need to talk
Me: we don't Mason
Mason: we do Leah
Me: Mason we don't
Mason: I'm coming to see you tomorrow and you better be at home
Me: I don't know why and I don't want to see you
Mason: that nigga better not be there either
Me: bye Mason
I roll my eyes and look back out the window.
Kayden says. "You straight?" I say dryly. "Yeah." He says. "You not cause you said that shit dry asf." I look at him and he stops at a red light and looks at me. "Tell me what's up with you?" I say. "Nothing I'm good." He shakes his head and starts back driving. Cole whispers to me. "This better not be about Mason." I don't say anything and Kayden pulls up in Wendy's drive through. Kayden orders our food and drives to my house. Hazel says. "Leah you sure you good?" I don't say anything and We pull up at the house a few minutes later. I grab my food and drink and I go in the house. I walk upstairs in my room and I pin my hair up and eat my food. Kayden walks in the room and looks at me. "Leah fr tell me what's up with you and don't say nothing." I finish my food and I look at him. "I'm straight Kayden." He shakes his head and sits on the bed. "You lying just tell me wassup." I look at him. "Fine it's Mason."
He looks at me for a second and says. "Block his number." I get on my phone and I decide to block Mason's number. Kayden looks at me. "You good now?" I say. "Yeah Kayden." He kisses me on the forehead and walks out the room. I get under the cover and lay down and go to sleep.
Hazel's Pov
Leah phone dings and she starts texting. Cole whispers to me. "I hope that ain't Mason." I shrug and Kayden says. "You straight?" She says dryly. "Yeah." He says. "You not cause you said that shit dry asf." She looks at him and he stops at a red light and says. "Tell me what's up with you?" She says. "Nothing I'm good." He shakes his head and starts back driving. Cole whispers to her. I look at Kayden and get on my phone. Kayden pulls up in Wendy's drive through. Kayden orders our food and drives off. I look at Leah and say. "Leah you sure you good?" She doesn't say anything and We pull up at her house a few minutes later. She grabs her food and drink and go in the house. Kayden turns around and looks at me. "What's up with her?" I shrug."Idk."Kayden gets out and walks in the house. I look at Cole and get out the car. He gets out the car and says. "Tell Leah I'll see her tomorrow." I walk inside and sit on the couch. Kayden comes downstairs and looks at me. "She straight now." I say. "Good." He sits next to me. "She should be sleep now." I start eating my food. "What was up with her?" He says. "Mason." I shake my head. "He need to leave her alone already." Someone knocks on the door and I get up and answer it. I look at Mason. "You need to leave." He says. "Where Leah?" I roll my eyes. "She don't want to see you." He looks at me. "I need to talk to her about something." I close the door in his face and lock it. Kayden says. "Who was that?" I shake my head. "Nobody important." He walks upstairs and I throw my trash away and walk out the door and lock it behind me. I get in my car and drive home.
