They'd spent most of the next day filming and working on content for both of their channels. Some time around dusk, they decided to grab a drink at a nearby bar.
They sat side by side on separate barstools, at a small table in a calm, quiet part of the bar. Both were starting to get the telltale blush that drinking brings, and had been chatting and laughing for a bit when Sorrow remembered what he wanted to ask the night before.
"So.. what exactly are we?" He asked, setting down his drink for a moment to look into his taller friend's blue eyes.
"I'm.. not quite sure. But I know that I'd.. I'd like to be with you, like as... boyfriends?" Slazo replied, shyly. Sorrow's face reddened even more. "Well, I.. I think I'd like that too."
They awkwardly tried to continue on back to normal conversation, until Sorrow noticed something going on nearby out of the corner of his eye. Some guy was setting up a karaoke machine.
"Hey, they've got karaoke, and I know a couple duet-"
"No."
"Oh, come on, pleas-"
"Nope. Not happening. I am not singing a duet with you."As much as Slazo liked him, he was not about to get up and start singing anything, let alone a duet, with the brunette youtuber.
Sorrow sighed, defeated. "Fiiiiiiine, I guess I'll go up alone, jeez."
When it was his turn, he started on a rendition of "Fly Me to the Moon". Slazo remembered seeing him do the same on his channel a while back, but watching him almost overenthusiastically perform his cover of the song felt pretty special. He noticed Sorrow making eye contact with him towards the end of the song."In other words, please be true.." he made his way over to where they had been sitting.
"In other words, I love-" Sorrow to pecked him on the cheek in the short instrumental break between words "-you!". The song ended, and he went to give the microphone over it the next person in line. Slazo was a little embarrassed, and glad that there weren't too many people in the bar at the time, despite his enamorment with his now-boyfriend's voice. Sorrow just gave him a cheeky smirk and sat back down next to him.Slazo was about done with the bar at that point, and besides, he wanted a bit of alone-time with the other. "Hey so uh, there's this place me and my mates used to go night-swimming at back in highschool, want to go check it out?"
"You mean in the ocean? It's kinda late, and we don't even have swimsuits. you sure?"
"Yeah, normal clothes work fine, and it won't be cold or anything."
Both were a little tipsy. Sorrow grinned at him. "Fuck it, why not? Let's go."

It was a nice night. The waters were just a little choppy, and it was a little overcast, but the water was at a pleasant temperature, and the slight breeze felt nice in their hair. They mostly just hung around in the water, occasionally splashing or pushing the other and talking. They both mostly just floated around, letting the waves carry them around as their conversations went on.
The waves started to seem more and more violent as time went on. One caught Slazo off guard, pushing him into the shoreline and making him eat sand. "Hey, these waves're getting a little crazy, yeah?"
Sorrow looked back at him, getting a little concerned. "Yeah, these bastards are a definitely wilder than when we first came here. Looks a little stormy out there too. You think we should head out?" Neither really wanted the moment to end, despite what looked like a storm forming on the horizon.
"Nah, I'm sure it'll be fine for just a little while longer" Slazo said, Sorrow nodding in agreement, both continuing on as if nothing happened for just a bit longer.
Neither noticed a particularly large wave headed towards them, until it violently hit them both, roughly knocking them underwater and towards the shoreline. Slazo desperately fought to reorient himself against the heavy current, head spinning as he tried to figure out which way was up until he finally found the surface.
He tried to laugh it off. "Haha Jesus, mate, that was nuts. We should really get the hell out of here". No response. His heart started to beat a little quicker. "Uhh... Sorrow?" He looked around for a sign of the brunette, but all he saw was dark waves on the horizon, until he spotted a patch of large rocks not too far from him. One of them had another liquid sticking to it. Against the night sky, he couldn't make out much of it, other than there was little of it, and it clung to the rocks more than the seawater did. His heart was racing as he went over to it, touching it to confirm his fears. It was blood.
He dove underwater, searching for the other youtuber and praying he would still be alive when he found him. At first, all he could find amidst the churning waves was sand and more rocks, but eventually his foot hit something soft. Realizing what it must've been, he grabbed the limp form and tried to drag it with him to the shore as fast as possible before another big wave could hit.
Laying his friend out on the wet sand, he frantically searched for any sign of a pulse. "Oh thank fuck" he breathed, finding it. It was weak and slow, but it was still something. He didn't know cpr, and had no idea what to do. He was about to call an ambulance when he heard a weak cough."... Sl... Slazo?"

FanfictionI absolutely got that title from a lyric from "Down Under". SorrowTV goes to Austrailia for a week to do some in-person collabs with Slazo. Things get interesting. Edit: Holy shit this has 1000 views. That's a big number.
