Peter's first suit was made to cover him up completely, not add to his abilities or protect him. The red torso, mask, gloves, and web shooters were going to be part of a future wrestling costume before Peter gave that up. He was only going to actually wear this suit once, after finding his uncle's killer. However, this was all he had to wear as Spider-Man when he decided to continue fighting criminals. Though now this suit is retired, he doesn't regret wearing it at all.

This is Peter's current suit, which he made for more comfort, style, and a small level of protection. The modified backpack he wears with it often holds his phone, spare nozzles in case his web shooters start to clog, and some civilian clothes. The suit has padding on his chest, arms, knees, and a metal faceplate he wears over a red batclava mask. Everywhere else is made from a blue wetsuit with two different shades of blue. The soles of his boots were taken from work boots. They even have steel toes for kicking, and don't hinder his wall crawling too much. All in all, he's very proud of this suit.
