Earned It

Part 11

Veronica POV 

Today I have a meeting with Ian's uncle, Alexander. We have a business deal and today I will be going over to his company, Alexander &Co.

I decided to put on a simple white chiffon button up shirt with some black dress pants with thin white vertical and horizontal   lines. I put on some black louis vuitton red bottoms stilettos. A wrist watch, a pair of black little earings, a black and gold bag and a black coat since it was a little cold outside.

I chose to take out my black sleek Aston Martin, and drove to Alexander &Co.

Once I got there I parked and went inside all the workers were gossiping but once they saw me they all went silent. I held my head high and made my way over to the receptionist.

"Ms. Rosetti, how may I help you" the receptionist asked.

"I have a meeting with Mr. Harrison" I said politely.

"Of course, right this way" she said as she leaded me towards the elevator. Right before we got in the elevator someone said from behind me " don't worry linda, I'll lead miss Rosetti".

As I turned I found a smirking Ian looking at me intensely. "God, you get more beautiful by the minute". He said liking his lips while he looked me up and down. I turned around to enter the elevator and right before I got in he said "you should really stop wearing those tight pants" I turned around with a curious face " why?" I asked him. "Because they hug your behind perfectly" I thought of his words for a moment and then continued to enter the elevator.

He quickly entered the elevator and pressed floor 37. When we arrived, I turned to him "where to?" I asked him. "I love the fact that I get to give you orders " he said grinning. "It's just simple directions don't flatter yourself " I said annoyed of his cockiness. He sighed "fine, turn right" I quickly turned right and stopped for further directions. " then we go straight" he said, once we got there I went in."I'm here, but first we need to talk" I said turning to Ian "in private" "it's fine Ian can stay" I let out a heavy sigh " I don't feel comfortable with having to work on this project with Ian, and not you" he chuckled "why, I didn't know you wanted to work with an old man like me". "Well at least you don't hit on me every second you get" Ian was smirking "I told you beautiful, if you date me then I won't be hitting on you as much".   "I'm sorry Veronica but I'll be out of the city for 3 weeks" Alexander said. I sighed heavily "well, I tried" I said and made my way towards the door "oh, before I forget you and Ian will be starting the project tomorrow" Alexander said " perfect" I said sarcastically. I walked out the office and out the building, driving to a nearby Starbucks.

Whenever  I went inside the coffee shop I instantly received gasps from people. When I turned around I caught a girl glaring at me from a distance.i rolled my eyes at her and placed my order.

Later on while I was tiping on my mac laptop I heard someone say "excuse me" in a not so polite manner. I turned to the person and realized it was the same girl who was glaring at me.

"Yes?" I asked I a strict tone.

"Your the one who stole Ian from me" she said.

"Excuse me!" I said in an offended tone. I am really not going to deal with Ian and his little sluts problems.

"Yes! You took him from me, he used to be with me and then he just went to you" ha! she really thinks I took him from her.

"Do you blame him I mean look at you, if i was him I would leave you too" I hissed at her.

I decided to walk away before she could say anything else. I drove home to sleep and get ready for the project with Ian that starts tomorrow.
