Part 16

Veronica  POV

"Don't we need him ?" Mr. Harris one of the business men spoke. "No, he is useless, and besides I won't have a person who can't respect women work in my company" I said to Mr. Harris.

"And that's why you are the best business woman out there" I turned to Ian as he spoke and turned my head to the front again.

"Now, let's continue this meeting ," I spoke "what does your interior designer have for me Mr. Santini".

"Here, let me introduce you to them, this is Brianna Sterling, my interior designer and this is Brad Jolie her assistant" he introduced me to them and I gave them a polite handshake.

"Nice meeting you, this is Catherine Johnson, my PA she will be working with you. I'll only come to the presentations, now if you guys have questions please ask" I told them.

"Miss Rosetti, what would you like in this new hotel" Ms. Sterling asked. "Well first of all, I do not want a fountain in the entrance and I would like to have the theme be blue". I told them as they took notes.

"I want paintings in the hotel, and each suite to have a big window to look out of, the hotel will be located in Miami and if you have anymore questions ask my PA". I stood up along with the other business men.

"This meeting is over" I dismissed them and quickly took my things and made my way to my office. Sadly I was stopped by Ian.

"Why in such a hurry" he asked. "I am a busy woman Mr. Santini" I said as I walked by all of my employees.

"Hey," he said while holding onto my arm to stop me from walking "have you had lunch already?".

"No Mr. Santini, but thanks for the offer" I looked at him.

"Glad you thought I was being polite" with that he grabbed my arm and pulled me to follow him. "Wait Ian, I can't walk that fast in heels" I said while trying to keep up.

Out of nowhere he just stopped, looked at me and put me over his shoulder. "Ian I am wearing a dress, please put me down" I said trying to keep calm so people won't stare.

"I know" is all he said.

"Everyone is going to see my butt" I said getting self conscious about people staring.

Out of the blue Ian put his hands on my butt. "What are you doing?! , get your hands off me!" I said not liking the way he was touching me.

"You said people will see your butt, so I'm holding your dress down so the air won't lift it".

I guess we soon arrived because he put me down and I glared at him. He just smirked, he knows to not disrespect  me like that. I couldn't help my anger so just slapped him right across the face and walked away.

I heard him calling my name but I just walked my way back to Rosetti Enterprise.

Once there I continued my work 'till it got late and I headed home.
