Earned It

Part 14

Veronica  POV

6:00 am

I am going to the gym to workout  as I am going to be on the cover of vogue.

I decided to wear black Nike leggings and a gray Nike sports bra, with some black Nike shoes.

Girls are always jealous of my body, and I would know because they've told me. Sometimes girls glare at me at the gym while men drool over me.

But I could care less, I'm in this world to do business not to please men and their so called 'needs'.

After being in the gym for an hour I went back home to take a shower and get ready for work. I quickly put on a blue dress that is above the knee and some nude Christian Louboutin stilettos . I lastly got my black sunglasses and got a coffee on my way to the company.

"Miss Rosetti, you have a meeting with some investors in 10 minutes " my PA said.

"Yes, tell them I'm on my way" I responded, this week I've been extremely busy but if this meeting goes well I will have done a 3 billion dollar deal. That is really good for the company.

I recently got the meeting room re-done so when I entered it was beautifully decorated with big windows, lights hanging from the top and a wooden table with gray rolling chairs.

"Hello everyone" I greeted all the businessmen. "Your a woman" one of them stated "I believe so" I responded with a slight smirk on my face. "Please come on men," the man started "you don't think I'm really going to do a 3 billion dollar deal with her". That really got me, in all of my career people would say that, but that's why I worked hard to prove them that a woman can run a business. And now I'm the best business women out there.

"If you have a problem with my gender, you may walk out the door." I stated a bit annoyed by this guy's attitude.

"I came here to make a deal , not to get kicked out by a woman".

"Very well, " I said while getting my phone out " security please come into the meeting room" I said through the phone.

The man came closer to me and roughly yanked me by my arm " look Veronica, I will not be humiliated in front of all these men by you" he said while yanking on my arm again.

At that moment I lost it, I yanked my arm out of his grip and slapped him straight on the face " you will not miss treat  me, or any other woman for that matter of fact, so GET OUT!" I yelled at him. In that moment the security came in and I motioned them with my finger to take the man out.

After the security took the man out I turned around to all the other business men. " And let that be a lesson to all of you, that a woman is as strong as a man" I said.

"Now, let's get to business " I said.
