The hood//Edwin honoret

part one- he made a mistake

12:37 am~

Edwin walked into a dark alley looking for a man to give the weed he was sent to give a middle aged man in the alley near the Katy apartments. Once he approached the man he said quietly "you got the money". The man replied with a quick and short "yes". Edwin handed the man the drugs, and the man looked up at him. The man took off and started to run without giving Edwin the money. Edwin takes a gun out of his pocket and runs after the man. Edwin yells out "stop" as he lifts the gun up towards the man. The man turns around and you can see how scared by looking in his eyes as he continues running. The man turns a corner, and Edwin soon follows as he puts his finger on the trigger and aims. He tells himself "do it and your family wont get hurt", and he pulls it. He hears a thud as he looks up and walks up to the mans body. The mans breathing is labored and you can tell he was close to death. Edwin reaches down and grabs the bag of weed. he runs back home and cleans off the gun and gets the blood off of the bag of weed and call his boss. He answers and Edwin tells him what happened. The boss responds with "next time take the money first and if they refuse..." Edwin finishes his sentence for him "tell the person that there not getting the drugs then". His boss responds by saying "its his mistake he ran" and Edwin said ok and hung up. Edwin went to bed and couldn't fall asleep. He kept thinking about the man he killed. He wondered how long he lived after he left him there, or if anyone found him. Edwin eventually fell asleep though.

the next morning~

Edwin woke up to the sound of sirens. he wasn't freaking out because that was normal but he did wonder if it was about a body found, so he walked to the living room of his house where he turned on the news. In fact it had been exactly that. The police found a body 3 blocks away from the Katy Apartments. he was hungry so he went out to go get breakfast. he decided on gong to Ihops.

at Ihops~ he sits down at the booth and 3 minutes later and really pretty waitress walks up to him and says "hello in Natalee and ill be your waitress today......
