Cheryl and I just became closer and closer. It was like we were actually sisters, which we told everyone we were. I became friends with Betty too. That let me get closer to Jughead and Archie, and I have a lot of news about them!

Yesterday, I was sitting alone at Pop's when Archie walked in. He spotted me, and smiled as he walked straight towards... me?! I looked into his eyes and saw pure joy. My heart was screaming HOTNESS OVERLOAD! ABORT! ABORT! But my brain was smart enough to keep me from getting up and bolting our the door. Archie sat down at the booth.

"Hey!" Archie said, and scratches his head.

"Um, hi." I replied shyly. Obviously if I wanted a boyfriend, I needed to start getting better about my shyness.

"So, how are you doing? We haven't talked much since Cheryl moved in with you." Archie said.

"Oh, uh, I've been pretty good. Moving Cheryl in has kept my mom and I busy, let alone making the money situation tight right now. How are things with you?" I replied to him, and stared into his eyes.

"Well, missing you. And pretty much being bored at home with the rare chances of helping my dad with work. Our money is pretty tight too, with mom gone." Archie told me. The first sentence made me practically die of joy and love. But I realized he was just as hopeless as me.

I was missing Jughead a crap ton so I walked over to Pop's. Archie insisted on coming, but I refused. I was going to make it up to Jughead.

"Have you seen Jughead lately?" I asked sheepishly.

"He's here right now, actually. You here with someone?" Pop asked me.

"Um, yeah. Where, uh, is Jughead sitting?" I asked him.

"He's right down that way. Now make sure that your other friend doesn't mind you switching seats." Pop replied. I followed the directions he told me. There was Jughead, sitting alone. He looked sad, like he had been waiting for someone that never came. I sat down.

"Hey, what's up?" I said.

"Oh, uh, hey. Nothing. Just sitting here alone waiting for... never mind. It's not important." Jug told me.

"Yeah, it is. Who ditched you?" I asked him.

"Archie. He was supposed to be here a while ago. Have you seen him by chance?" Jughead asked me. I was taken aback. Why had Archie sat with me, if he was supposed to be here with Jug?

"Yeah. He's actually here. He cans and sat with me, and I was confused. Why did he do that?" I replied.

"I want to know the same thing. Let's go ask him." Jughead told me. We got up together. I was wobbly, and almost fell. Everything that's happened recently, at home, too, has made me more stressed and just kind of dizzy.

"Gotcha." Jug said, as he caught me from falling the second time. He looked into my eyes and smiled.

"Y/n, are you ok?" He asked me.

"Um, yeah. Sorry." I replied. We smiled at each other, and started walking again. Hand in hand, we walked right up to Archie, prepared to give the speech of a lifetime.

"GET DOWN!" Someone shouted, as the world blacked out. All I felt was Jugheads hand squeezing mine. I heard him whisper to me.

"It'll be all right, y/n. Just stick with me." He said. Then the world shut down, and I felt nothing as time seemed to pass before my closed eyes.
