It was out of nowhere, He just showed up and my mom just welcomed him with open arms
Mom is never welcoming .
What changed?
"Come greet this lovely boy" My mom told me and then whispered,"I'm going to put on some more make-up."
When she left, Hector smirked at me and started coming to over me slowly.
Each time he took one step closer to me , I moved two steps away from me .
Thank you mom for making the couch long enough.
I looked at him with glare while he just chuckled.
"You shouldn't be running away"
"Why do you care Mr. Advantage taker?"
He looked at me confused, " I didn't take advantage of her. She wanted me to. She kept on begging and begging so I did.''
"Liar"
"Am not plus you were just jealous that it wasn't you in that room with that day so stop playing innocent"
"I would rather date Dustin who I want to punch so bad than be your ugly self"
"Ha! Like he would want to date you plus I can rock your world"
I scoffed , " Other boys may be able to rock my world unlike you ; I can rock my own world with being SUCCESSFUL."
Everything went downhill, I wish I never met him in those woods two years ago because I know his dirty secret.
He wasn't a demon nor an angel.
His eyes turned black and his claws appeared. My eyes widen.
"What are you?" He grinned , "Your worst nightmare."
"MOM!!! MOM!!!! "
I tried calling my mother to see if she will help.
She didn't come or answer.
"She's sleeping Angel"
He came near me and whispered in my ear,"Run Princess".
And I did.
I ran so fast that it caused me to trip in the logs that I tried to jump over.
Mud and dirty water were already on my body.
"You can run, but you can't hide from me "
I'll take my chances I thought and it took 45 minutes and wrong turns to find the main Street where I saw a car going by. I tried waving at it to get its attention. Mama told me to never go in a stranger's car , but I needed to get away from Hector and whatever he was .
A truck stopped in front of me and the woman looked friendly.
"Where you heading?" She asked.
"To a friend's house"
" I knew dang well you ain't telling me that your going to a friend's house looking like a swamp monster"
I didn't say anything.
"Who you running from?" She finally started driving down the main road.
" It doesn't matter"
"Whatever you say gal"
After five minutes, I let it out which I had to twist some things.
"We were friends at some point , but he slowly started acting strange around me. He told me that he loved me. I told him that I loved him like a brother."
I was slient for a while
"He didn't take it nicely"
"Over rejection? Wow! Teenagers these days" Woman mumbled
"Oh! I forgot to ask what's your name? My name is Carrie" she told me smiling.
"I'm Brandy" I smiled back at her. No , my name is Genny. i had to lie.
She dropped me off down a block and I waved goodbye to her .
" You be safe you hear?"
"Yes ma'am"
She left and I knocked on Tammy and Toby's door. They were sisters.
