I was over thinking the possibilities for Sarah's safety.

Tammy didn't really want to find Sarah and j don't know why. Sarah is the sweetest person I've ever met. We all have those moments of being annoyed.

Toby was definitely hiding something or at least hiding.

Everyone was a suspect in this town because we all hold secrets that we don't want anyone to know. We are just human.

Ring Ring. My phone had rang and picked it up. "Having fun yet Genny?"

Of course. Hector. I signaled Tammy and Toby and then put the phone on Speaker.

" What do you want Hector?"

"You"

I scoffed,"Not happening."

"Oh! You wouldn't want anything to happen to Sarah would you? Her parents would be devastated"

I glared at the phone. "Where is she?"

"Oh, Just hanging around somewhere"

"You better not have hurt her Hector. I don't care what you are. I'll beat you up"

"Relax Mamabear . One of my friends is just having fun with her for a while"

I didn't like the sound of that. Neither did Toby or Tammy.

"See you at school Genny"

He hang up and I just looked at the phone.

Who was 'one of his friends' and what was he doing to Sarah?

I didn't want to think about it and Toby ran to the bathroom to throw up.

Tammy's face looked pale, but not like a sheet.

"What is he Genny?"

" I don't know Tammy , but I think Toby knows"

When Toby came out the bathroom, Her face was red and tears were streaming.

"Toby!, What do you know about Hector?". Toby is smart and when something doesn't feel right . She would-

" I looked it up and I found out what he was"

Her whole body was shaking.

"What if he eats Sarah or better yet makes her the same exact thing like him"

"Toby! That would never-"

"What if we never see Sarah and one by one , Students start to disappear as well?"

"TOBY ! SNAP OUT OF IT" Tammy had shouted and Toby was slient.

" It starts with just one person Genny and then it spreads like a virus until it kills everything"

I hugged Toby, "Everything will be fine."

"Tell us what you found "

"He is no demon or angel, but a creature of the night. They can sleep up to thousand years and cannot be hurt by any weapon. He finds a someone and gets deeply attached to that person. They go crazy without them. Hector can be taken down , but he would  just sleep for a thousand years. Genny is he after you?"

" I helped him in the woods, but that's all"

"He got attached to you Genny and now he wants you" Toby told me

" But that makes no sense. How does one thing turn someone into a stalker of the night?"

Toby shrugged and Tammy crossed her arms and scoffed, " I thought you were the Goddess of Knowledge Toby"

Toby didn't say anything, but shrug

It's been half a month and we haven't even found Sarah yet. The police said they checked every beach and riverside.

I asked about the warehouses and abandoned houses . It seems that they didn't even think about that.

I didn't want to think about the negative with Sarah because I know that she's strong.

We were all like cats and dogs with this going on. So it would a fight even though we didn't mean it to each other.

We haven't seen Dustin at school for two weeks and I wouldn't blame him. I would hide too. EVERYONE in the town was making up stories about the Genkin's family.

I was going to my locker with no one in the hallway. Way to go Genny. I looked around to make sure it was no serial killer hiding. I did my combination and got my books out of the locker , when a paper fell out of my locker. I picked it up.

Ready or not here I come - Hector

I looked around and that would cue the eerie music.

I closed my locker and suddenly I felt cold.  I looked behind me and saw something that horrified me to this day...........
