I woke up in the middle of a meadow.
I was in a white dress with a golden crown on my head. I was wearing gold sandals with gold strings wrapped my ankles. I was so confused.
"Hi little twit"
I gasped and turned around to met Hector.
"Hi Genny, you look beautiful" He smiled.
He was a white button-up shirt and black pants. No shoes.
"What's happening Hector? Did I kill you? Wait... I didn't kill you. AM I DEAD?! SERIOUSLY AGAIN!!!" I was going ballistic until he kissed me on my lips.
I was shocked and slapped him. " You need to answer instead kissing me "
He chuckled and shrugged.
"How old are you?" I blurted out.
"200 years old"
My eyes widen and my mouth opened like a fish underwater and then I just had to blurt out, "You should be dead by now old man."
He laughed and shook his head, "I should be dead, but you all need to grow up then."
This time , I laughed.
"Where are we Hector?"
He looked sad for a minute and then looked at me, " I'm leaving."
"What? "
"Genny ! I love you , but I'm tired and I'm finally free. The curse has been lifted finally. I can be with my family ." He was holding something back. I saw it in his eyes.
"Your lover ?"
He nodded and I slowly hugged him.
"Go! Be with them. I'll be okay . I'm just happy I'm not dead ", I laughed nervously. We just looked at each other for a while.
" I need you to stab me"
"What! Didn't you just say your leaving?"
He nodded, " I need to finally sleep as well ."
He put his forehead to mines and put the knife in my hand. He kissed my head and smiled, "Until we meet again." He guided my hand to his stomach.
"Sweet dreams Hector"
He kissed me one last time before falling to the ground and fading away.
I fall to the ground crying.
