Dear Eros,
Ningning and I planned to eat dinner together at a well-known restaurant near our office, but I said that I needed to go home to get changed first because I didn't bring an extra outfit. After I was ready, I started looking for a cab when an eight-wheeler truck suddenly passed by me and splattered mud all over my clothes! The driver was obviously beyond the allowed speed limit. I panicked as I would definitely be late to our dinner.
Luckily, I recognized Winter's black BMW heading in my direction. She said that she just happened to pass by and saw me. I explained to her what happened and she quickly offered me her set of clothes in the trunk. Then, she took me to the restaurant where Ningning was already waiting. I made sure to thank her, but she simply nodded and left after that. Winter has always been hard to read. I wish she could be more open to me about her feelings though. Thanks to her, I was able to have a pleasant evening with Ningning.
Love,
Karina
