PROLOGUE

Oh, damn headache! Where the hell am I again?

I struggled to get up from bed. This room is not familiar to me. Did I bed another woman again?

Inihilamos ko ang aking kamay sa mukha. Wala talaga akong maalala. Ang alam ko lang tumutugtog pa kami sa Zero Degree bar.

I mentally grinned. Sayang at hindi ko maalala whoever that woman I fcked last night.

Kinuha ko ang nakakalat kong damit at isinuot. Saktong pagkatapos ko ay bumukas ang pinto at agad kong naamoy ang mainit na kape.

"Hey, babe! Finally, you're awake."

Nangunot ang noo ko. Sino nga ulit ang babaeng ito? She's thin and sexy, especially her breasts. She has blonde hair that matched her creamy white skin tone. I wonder how she screamed my name last night.

"I'm sorry, I got to go. Enjoy your breakfast." I winked at her. Lalagpasan ko na sana siya ngunit hinarang niya ako.

"Wait, babe. Let's eat first, gutom ako. Pinagod mo kasi ako kagabi," pagpapaawa niya. She even bit her lip as if seducing me.

"I'm sorry, Maria, I really need to go. Kumain ka kung nagugutom ka." Umiwas ako sa kanya.

"Who the hell is Maria?" harang niya sa'kin. Napakamot ako ng batok.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Maris--"

"Who the fuck is Maris? I'm Marianne, you asshole!"

Oh, she's as red as a tomato now. Inilapag niya ang tray sa lamesita at hinarang ako.

"May iba ka pa bang babae maliban sa'kin?" Nanlilisik na ang kanyang mga mata.

I'm really sorry that I wasn't able to remember her name. But I always make sure that I bed women in alphabetical order. She's the 13th woman I bed this month.

"Of course, I do have. Your name starts with letter M, so tomorrow I'm gonna bed a woman that starts with letter N," I explained patiently. I am really not used to explaining myself.

Tumulo ang kanyang mga luha.

"I can't remember I promised," bored kong sagot. I need to end everything about us now. Baka habul-habulin niya ako. I hate that.

"You did! I expected too much because of your promises. I thought you're in love with me!"

"With the face like this?" I mocked at her.

"You're not my type, Maria--"

"It's Marriane!"

"Oh, I'm sorry, Marianne. I only fuck and go so expect the unexpected--"

Sinampal niya ako. Sa sobrang lakas ay pakiramdam ko naiwan ang kamay niya sa pisngi ko.

"Why did you slap me?!" My fist clenched. No one dares to slap my face!

"Expect the unexpected, 'di ba? Lumayas ka na!" sabi niya at nagmartsa palabas.

Shit! Ang sakit ng pisngi ko. Susunod na rin sana ako palabas ngunit bigla siyang bumalik at hinarap ako.

"Sana makarma ka! Sana isang araw iiyak ka ng dugo dahil sa isang babae!"

Tsk. Too loud and desperate. That won't happen, in her dreams!

Lumabas na lang ako ng kuwarto na 'yon. I then realized na nasa isang pamilyar na condominium pala ako. Bumaba na lang ako at nag-taxi pauwi sa penthouse. Maybe Elliot has sent my car home.

Pagkatapos kong maligo at magbihis ay pumunta agad ako ng ospital.

I'm one hell of a lucky man for having this face. I'm way too perfect not to deserve a perfect woman as well.

Pero may perpekto bang babae? Women are weak and imperfect. They can't stand on their own.

I parked my car at my usual spot in the parking lot outside the hospital. I actually own this hospital. There's a lot of beautiful nurses working here but none of them are attractive in my eyes. In other words, they're not perfect.

Ang hirap talaga maging perfect.

I was on my way to the employees' entrance when I bumped unto someone.

"Ay!"

That was too fast. Nasalo ko siya ngunit namalayan ko na lang na kumaibabaw siya sa'kin at magkadikit na ang aming mga labi.

In the history of my perfection, this is the first time for my lips to land on very soft lips.

Napapikit ako at dinama ang kanyang mga labi. Damn it! This is the sweetest lips I've ever tasted in my entire perfect life!

Naramdaman kong inilayo niya ang kanyang labi. I chased it while my eyes were shut close.

Is she the woman I've been waiting for all my life? I thought.

Pero napatigil ako sa paghalik nang may nalasahan akong maalat.

Napadilat ako. Umiiyak siya. Sinalakay ng sakit ang dibdib ko. What's happening to me?

Tiningnan ko siya nang mabuti. Napaawang ako. From her pointed small nose, expressive eyes, long, curly eyelashes, red-kissable lips--goodness! She's a goddess!

I scanned her even more without changing our position. Pero nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang makumpirma ang nakahalikan ko.

What the hell? This is not happening!
