"Taehyungie, don't blame it on yourself" Jimin hugged his shirtless boyfriend from behind.
Taehyung rolled over in their king-sized bed to look at Jimin. It was 3:34 am and Taehyung couldn't even close his eyes without Hana Duri coming to mind. "It is my fault though, the pressure we put on her, it broke her."
"You didn't know that though, you were doing your job." Jimin tried to comfort him.
"Doing my job? I killed an innocent person Jimin." Taehyung sat up in the bed. Jimin followed his act.
"It was her choice to kill herself Tae. It was a selfish act. She can't blame it on you."
"Are you really that thick Jimin? It said in the goddamn letter it was the police's fault. In case you didn't know, I am a police officer so it's my goddamn fault!" Taehyung snapped back. His eyes widened after realizing what he had said.
Jimin looked at him, hurt, for a split second before getting out the bed. "I'm going to sleep downstairs. Once you have your head on straight, we can continue this conversation."
Taehyung watched his boyfriend walk out the dimly lit room in only boxers. He sighed, feeling even worse than before.

Jungkook sat back on his bed looking at the ceiling. He couldn't stop his mind from running. Trying to figure out how he gets the police to not come after the victims but instead come to the conclusion that it was someone else, but not him. The complexity was strangling him. He sat up, looking around his dimly lit room by his nightlight. Jungkook couldn't bear the thought of sleeping in complete darkness, alone. He stood up, extending his legs to stretch the tiredness out of them. He wandered over to his desk, avoiding the spare articles of clothing that lay spread across the floor. Pulling his chair out, he sat down, glancing across this desk. The Polaroid camera a smooth creamy colour. He'd never touched it with his bare hands, only with gloves. There were three boxes of film stacked behind it, begging to be used. Placed next to it was a list, a list of people that had court trials within the last 5 years on sexual offence and had gotten away free.
Lying adjacent was a thick file of his next victim. Song Jeol-bin, a 36-year-old who had a court trial for sexually assaulting three separate school girls when he was a substitute teacher in Middle Lions Creek five years ago. Jungkook glanced over the pictures he had of the three adorable girls. Moon Seulbin, Kang Chinseo and Bora Eunjun. He wondered how much it impacted their lives. How broken they must be. He decided to search up their names to see if he could find them, see what they were doing with their lives. He searched up the first girl Moon Seulbin. His heart skipped a beat when news headlines popped with her name, closely followed by the word suicide. Another person had lost their lives to this disgusting act. The sound of Jungkook's tongue hitting the roof off his mouth bounced off the walls of his bedroom.
He felt anger bubbling, she didn't even finish high school. She died at 16. 16. She was on this earth for only 16 years and she was gone. She had a whole life in front of her and Song Jeol-Bin raped her from it. He stood up suddenly, breathing heavily. He had to blow off some steam. He glanced at the camera, questioning if he should take it and continue this collage. He shook his head slightly, he didn't want to work right now. He placed a hand on the doorknob, taking a deep breath and shutting his eyes tight, Jungkook opened the door quickly before spastically trying to find the light switch. One he heard the click, he opened his eyes. The ominous hallway was now bathing in warm light. He made his way down the hallway, reaching the stairs he turned on the light once again. He continued until half his house was lit up and he was at the front door. Pulling on a pair of trainers, red cap and black hoodie, Jungkook set off into the night.
He continued walking in frustration, eye glued to his shoes. The photo of the youthful girl hanging by her neck was ingrained his head and probably would be forever. He wondered how many victims there were. How many people were hurt, how many people were currently getting hurt? How many people would he not be able to help? The thoughts slowly broke away his anger and left him with guilt. He felt like it was his fault he couldn't protect them. Couldn't save them. He couldn't even save himself.
"Stop get off me!"
Jungkook looked up from his feet notice he was completely lost and confused. Did someone ask for help or was he imagining it? Sometimes he hears voices that don't exist, could he trust it? Glancing at his surroundings he noticed he was in a run-down part of town, no traffic cameras, no nothing. He decided to call out.
"Did someone ask for help?" Jungkook slowly turned around in a circle to try and see where the voice was coming from.
"Yes-!" The feminine voice was muffled.
Jungkook's legs sprang into action, taking him down the ally that the voice emitted from. When he turned the corner he came to a halt and noticed the scene in front of him. The girl that had called out for help was shoved up against a wall. Her black hair that was once in a neat high ponytail was dishevelled, the hairband straying away from the top of her head. Her monolid, brown eyes were red and teary. Her dainty hands were working tirelessly to pull away from a rough hand that covered her nose and mouth. Her polo shirt had been ripped and the buttons laid on the floor at her feet, leaving her white bra on display. Her left breast had been roughly pulled out of the white comfortable fabric and was sitting in a dirty hand instead. Jungkook instantly recognised her. It was one of the victims of Jeol-bin. Bora Eunjin. He moved forward, taking a glance at the man. He was slightly overweight, his double chin hiding in a scruffy beard and messy hair. He was almost unrecognizable but Jungkook knew those eyes. Those cold, unforgiving, eyes. It was Jeol-bin himself.
"Shut up you bitch, you know what you did? I can't get work anywhere now because of you! I-"
"Shut up!" Jungkook yelled out, taken aback himself at his outburst.
Both people who failed to notice him before looked at him now. Eunjin started to cry for help under Jeol-bin's hand. The man smirked.
"This one is mine, go find your own" He growled.
Jungkook felt rage build up inside him as Jeol-bin accused him of such vile actions. He raised a fist and punched Jeol-bin off Eunjin. Once Jeol-bin was on the ground, Jungkook kicked him repeatedly. Refusing to stop. He counted every kick in his head, once he got to the sixteenth one he stopped and opted for an axe kick instead. Jeol-bin stopped moving. He turned back around the girl who was on the phone, supposedly to emergency services. She looked up and Jungkook fearfully but it melted away when she saw the hurt in his eyes. He looked like a kicked dog. He slowly approached her. Once he was in front of her, he tenderly reached for her white bra and pulled it back over her revealed breast, covering it once more. He pulled the edged of her polo shirt together and tied it at the bottom to make sure it wouldn't fall apart. She lowered the phone, smiling a weak thank you to him. Jungkook didn't stop there. He pulled off his hoodie, revealing his pyjama tank top, he handed the hoodie to her. She put it on. She looked up at him and he smiled comfortingly at her. She broke down, stretching her arms out to Jungkook. Jungkook surprised at the action, slowly took her into his arms. No one had ever seeked comfort in him before. He was always the one seeking help. He slowly lowered them both to the ground as she sobbed thank yous in his chest. He heard sirens in the distance, slowly getting louder. Part of him wanted to run but he forced himself to stay in his place and comfort Eunjin until this was over.

Taehyung finally managed to close his eyes for longer than five minutes without a bloody image coming to mind. He started to relax until an overused jingle made its way into the air. Taehyung groaned and picked up the phone.
"What?" His groggy voice broke the silence.
"There has a been a 261A and 240 in your district. You are required at the station."
Taehyung groaned an affirmative response. The line went dead.
"For fuck's sake," Taehyung murmured, pulling himself out of his bed.
