You see the kids
Who are so happy
You see the familys
Who are whole
You see all the happiness
But you've forgotten
That not everyone or
Everything is happy
And it is us
Who are forgotten
We are the kids
Who's familys don't care
We are the kids
Who don't have familys
We are the kids
Who have been abused
We have had
Our childhoods
Ripped away from us
Grown up at young ages
And at far too fast
Of a pace
We are the kids
Who fade into the background
We are the forgotten
