Amelia's P.O.V

I was just in the hall talking to my friends Lauren and Gabriella Gabs for short when I saw Cruz's arm around a girl who is quite popular than I am. "Oh my god seriously?! Out of everyone he chose that bitch?!," Lauren exclaimed as she could not believe her eyes. I frowned ignoring whatever she said. "He's so gonna get beat up," Gabs says as she punched her arm. "Okayyy Gabbie let's not do that," I said pulling her arm. The bell ranga and Gabbie managed to calm dowm and go to class.

After school I went straight home not to the Beckham's like my normal routine. "What's wrong Darling you haven't touched your food at all," Mum says worried. "Just some-ugh have you ever liked someone who's apparently your best friend and has a girlfriend?," I questioned not looking at her. "I have indeed and it's okay. You're in highschool the best boys are found during your uni years," she replied and kissed my forehead. "Well Jess got Brooklyn why can't I get...," I trailed off. "Cruz?," my step-dad says. "Yeah," I sighed. "Cruz isn't just the fish in the ocean honey. He'd be lucky if you caught him or he caught you," He shrugged. "Thanks...dad," i smiled.

Late at night I kept thinking what my step-dad said and it kept me awake the whole night then Cruz called. "Hullo," I answered. "Hey Melia you didn't come over today I was wondering if you were okay," he asked. "I'm fine Cruz don't worry about me," I frowned. "Why are you frowning," he asked. I looked at the window and I saw him waving at me whilst holding his phone. "Idkmaybebecauseilikeyouandimjealous," I mumbled really fast. "What?," he says confused. "Nothing my friend now sleep," I giggled. "Okay...wait...Meils?," he says. "Yes?," i questioned. "I love you," He says. "You're funny I love you too," I said quite sarcastically. "Haha bye," he laughed fakely and hung up. Did he really say I love you?

Cruz's p.o.v

I had this stupid dare to put my arm on Kylie's waist and walk around with her the whole day. I have a secret that my brothers only know...I like Amelia since kindergarten and I really want us to be more than just best friends.

That night I saw her night lamp still open snd she was sitting beside her window gazing at the stars. At that moment I wondered if she was okay and why she went straight home not my house so I called her. During the call she said something really fast but all I ever understood was 'like you' and 'jealous'.  I asked what she said to make it clearer for me to understand but she refused. I wanted to tell her I love her and I did but she doesn't feel the same way. What if she does but she thinks that I didn't mean it, I hope that's the case.
