I knocked on the door to Harveys house. It took less than a minute for him to open it.

He was wearing a tank top, leaving his arms and shoulders bare. I forced myself to focus on his face, trying not to stare.

"You came, Hi!" he chirped. "Of course I did. I haven't had time to shower though" I replied awkwardly.

"Don't worry about it. You're not smelly in my opinion" Harvey shrugged.

"Thanks?" I laughed.

"Come on in. Let's go to my room" Harvey said, pulling me inside. He immediately lead me upstairs to his room. I couldn't help but smile, I just loved being around him. I walked inside the room and Harvey closed the door behind us, locking us.

"What, are you going to keep me as your prisoner?" I joked.

"Nonono it's just to keep out my brothers" Harvey replied. "And my mum for that matter" he added, laughing a little.

I let my eyes wander over his posters again. I had been in his room quite a few times by now, but I still felt like I hadn't seen them all yet. There were just so many of them.

"So what exactly is your taste in music?" I asked, trying to count the posters on the walls.

"Pretty much anything to be honest. Mainly pop and R&B of course" Harvey responded, sitting down on his deskchair.

"I can see that. I mean, those are A LOT of posters mate" I laughed.

"Yeah, I know. I listen to a lot of stuff" Harvey chuckled. "Charlie Puth, all of the ex 1D-ers, Little Mix,..."

"Wait you listen to Little Mix?" I interrupted.

"Yeah. They are very talented. By the way Jesy Nelson is underrated" Harvey shrugged.

"Who's Jesy Nelson?" I lied.

Harvey gasped and playfully attempted to hit me. "I'm kidding I'm kidding! I know she's a member of  Little Mix!" I screamed.

"Yeah you better" Harvey laughed.

"Any other artists?" I asked.

"Yeah there's an enormous list. Shawn Mendes, Camille Cabello, Dua Lipa, Emma Bale, and the list goes on" Harvey said.

My eyes wandered back to his desk. "What about your own stuff?" the question was out before I knew it.

Harvey looked startled, staring at me. "You... You saw my stuff?" he stuttered.

"Yeah. I saw some of your songs. They're pretty good" I said causiously.

"No they're not. It's all cringy" Harvey mumbled, fiddling with a pen on his desk.

"I read one of your songs. It was really good. Can you... Sing one for me?" I asked carefully.

Harveys eyes widened in suprise. "I-I don't know if..." he muttered.

"You don't have to" I blurted out. "Only if you want to of course... But I'd like to hear one"

"No it's okay. You can hear one" Harvey said quietly. He opened a drawer and flicked trough a few sheets before pulling one out, closing the drawer again. He nervously stood up and inhaled.

"I just don't know where to start
Time moves slow now we're apart
When we first met I was strong
I tell you my story
In this it was me and you
Thought that we were winners oh
Where story heart winners go
Can't get between us..."
