March 25 1911,
The end of the day they would be in heaven,
Girls of the age of 13-19 slave and pray,
While leaving doesn't happen until the end of the day,
They came here to be free,
But they couldn't flee,

Who knew your life would leave you?
In a blink of an eye that sees you,
Before the night,
A fire ignites,

The firefighters couldn't reach,
So people decided to leap,
All because of the carelessness of a smoker,
Because he was mediocre,

Who knew your life would leave you?
In a blink of an eye that sees you,
Before the night,
A fire ignites,

146 dead,
Forever rest their heads,
9th and 10th floor trapped,
Their lives were kidnapped,

They lost their lives but helped make rules,
So we were safe at offices and schools,
Our lives are saved,
Because they were brave,
