-Third POV-

Asriel was sleeping peacefully in his bed like every morning, it wasn't a big room, it actually only had space enough for the bed and a closet with some clothes for him and his wife. He was currently sleeping alone since his wife woke up earlier and was preparing the breakfast in the kitchen as a little surprise for their seventh anniversary.

Small footsteps could be hear getting closer to the room, seconds later the sliding door was opened and Asriel was assaulted by the weight of a child falling over his stomach, waking him up immediately.

Marie: Papa! Wake up already! You have a lot of things prepared for today! You can't sleep until the afternoon and keep her waiting!

Asriel grumbled and replied with a sleepy tone.

Asriel: I know, I know, I can smell it from here, she is making breakfast, right?

Marie nodded with an energetic smile, making him smile in return.

Asriel: Ok I'll go, just let me take a shower and I'll be there.

Marie: Don't take too long!

She said walking out of the room; Asriel sat down on the bed and crawled to the edge, standing up while stretching and yawning, he then directed himself to the shower.

After a cold shower he was fully awake, he dressed up and directed himself to the kitchen of the little house, stopping at the entrance of the kitchen and looking at his wife happily preparing breakfast.

Ahri was there, using a white apron over her usual clothes, Asriel got closer silently and hugged her from behind, making her yelp in surprise while the porcelain cup she was holding fell to the ground, right before it hit the floor Ahri catch the empty cup with one of her tails, turning around with an exasperated face towards her husband.

Ahri: You are lucky it was empty.

Asriel: Sorry honey, its just that you look lovely with an apron.

Ahri: Maybe one day I could receive you only using the apron.

Asriel made a thoughtful expression, grabbing his chin and then giving her a little kiss on the cheek.

Asriel: Don't expect me to hold back if that happens.

Ahri gave him a playful smile and caressed her cheek against his, however the pink atmosphere was interrupted by the kid of the family.

Marie: Jeez you two always become like that every morning, don't you get tired of it?

Ahri: Ufufufufu, you'll understand one day.

Asriel: No, she won't.

Ahri: Come on, you now she will find a boyfriend sooner or later, she is already 12 after all.

Asriel: She is always going to be my little princess and I won't let any filthy demon take her away from me!

Ahri: You are lucky you didn't need to meet my parents. However, you know she is going to grow up eventually.

Asriel: I said no!

Marie was blushing for her father overprotective commentaries and yelled at him in shame.

Marie: Papa stop saying those embarrassing things!

Ahri: You heard her, stop or you'll regret it.

Asriel: Bu...

Ahri: No buts. Now help me to put everything in order, breakfast is ready.

Asriel/Marie: Aye!
