so this is basically my story, how my 2018 went. uwu🙈
Ups and downs,
Smiles and frowns
This is how my year went
A lil strong, but bent.
Met new people, new friends
However, relationship ends.
People come and go,
I guess we just have to accept and go with the flow.
Felt out of place
A group of friends felt like empty space
Tears and laughters
In the end, are we able to stay together?
Felt sad and lonely
My head was filled with worries.
I was too alone
And i felt that im just a worthless stone.
People being happy,
I was too envy.
A tear slipped my eye
Hmm, i dont know why.
It somehow felt unfair
That i had too much pain to bear
But we're all equal and im not alone
I know that God is here, my cornerstone.
I auditioned in an acapella contest
Where we passed and gave our best
Succeeded to the finals
Took a step on the stage with our rivals.
I felt like the stage was ours
I felt like I've reached the stars.
It was a happy feeling indeed
Seeing a plant grow from a seed.
A new year to be better
A new chance to do greater
I won't let my self down
From now on, I'll swim back up whenever i drown.
2018 was indeed a rollercoaster.
Where we built wonderful memories together.
We may lost someone on the journey,
But learning to let go is the key.
More memories to make,
Bid goodbye to the fake.
Lets be happy, lessen the tears.
Lets be better this year.
