Long, long ago, in a forgotten land, you smiled. Like a gift upon this cruel world, you smiled like nothing could shoot you down. No toxic persons, nor love could ever ruin you. At least, that's what you though.

Today, your smile is nonexistent. Today, the friends that once held you up with strong, Greek carved pillars abandoned you, leaving you to topple in a pile of rubble. Today, love avoids you as you fake your smile, telling yourself you're okay. You're not okay, for that smile has never shined on your warm face since.

Your friends, who say they value you, left with a snake curled around their mind, controlling their thoughts and hissing in their ears.

Your lover, or, ex-lover played with your heart, torturing with words and touches, turning you into a lovestruck fool. Then, like a puppet on a string, he followed the snake, letting it hiss lies into his open ears, deaf to your pleads.

Through this, your smile shrunk. First, it shown so bright it could rival the proud sun in the sky, now, it's gone, dark as the black ink on this paper.

I just want your smile back. Oh, I would do anything to get it back. No feat nor loss would prevent me from fighting for your smile, so we could all see the thing you loved the most. And I've tried, I've tried so hard. No joke nor conversation could make you better, and I mourn every moment your smile wastes away.

I miss it.

Your family misses it.

We all miss it.

And will stop at nothing to get it back, so please, don't let those fools ruin it.

They don't deserve it. They never did.

End.
