Chapter 4-First kiss

Alexa's POV

'Okay just one more thing ' I thought to myself. I swiped on my favorite pink lip stick and went downstairs.

"Hey mom. I won't be here for supper. Liam is taking me out." I said. "Okay hun, have a nice time! Maybe he'll finally ask you to be his boyfriend...he's a good boy Lex."

'I hope so too...' I thought

" The food is great Liam! You better let me pay at least a little!" " No way Lex!" Ugh I hate when he does this. 7 dates later and he still doesn't let me contribute!

"Hey lex?" Oh gosh he looks nervous.

" Yeah?" I said with a reassuring smile. " Will you be my girlfriend?" I'm pretty sure I hear bells because I'm in heaven! " Of course! Yes!" We both smiled at each other and finished our meal.

" Do you wanna hang at my house? I mean I guess you should meet my par- I mean...I guess you should meet my mother now..."

Ugh dammit! I shouldn't have brought this up so soon. I don't think I'm ready to talk about my father... " Yeah sure! She must be lovely" he said with a smile. Phew!

We pulled up to my driveway and then walked inside. Liam placed his keys on the counter and handed me a sticky note which read: ' I had to do a quick errand. I will be home around 9-mom.' I'm used to my mom going out like this... Ever since dad left she's so busy. Liam interrupted my thoughts.

" Hey it's alright. I can hang until your mom comes home okay? She should be here in about 45 minutes anyway. Wanna see what's on tv?" I agreed and we both agreed to watch a movie that was already on.

About 25 minutes into the movie, Liam had his arm around me and my head was resting on his shoulder. I peeked up he smiled down at me. I leaned and kissed him. Not to sound cheesy, but there were definitely sparks! Soon enough there was a knock on the door and we broke apart. I kissed his cheek and opened the door.

" Hi honey could you grab these? They're super heavy." " Sure. I got it. Hey babe could you help me with this box?" Wait...babe? Eh whatever he's officially mine now, I smiled to myself. " Sure babe" he said and winked, clearly reading my expression.

" Thanks you two. I had some supplies ordered for work and they came in today. Hello Liam nice to finally meet you." My mother and Liam shook hands. " Hello and same to you Mrs. Mopher."

" Thanks for walking home with me lex. You really didn't need to." " I pecked his lips. " It's alright. Thanks for tonight. It was lovely" I said with a smile. He leaned in and kissed me. After about a minute Liam's front door opened to a tall, bulky guy with a big grin on his face. " Awwww has my little bro found his little true love? Hahaha I thought this day would never come."

Brother??

" Devon just go inside. I'll be right in."

" Oh alright." He said and shut the door with an evil smile.

" I didn't know you had a brother." I said to Liam. " Yeah... He's two grades above me. We don't exactly show we're related let alone get along..." I laughed. " That's okay. I'll see you tomorrow babe." I kissed his cheek and walked down the steps.
